@itsnota2mer: Oh well it's important to remaster games every 3 years or so. If they didn't do that, they'd have to make entirely new games that are worth buying.
The original looks fine. If I'm going to play this game, I'm playing the original. There are no significant upgrades that make buying two games to play one game worth it. Even more puzzling, if they made the original Last of Us one game, any reason they couldn't do that with this "remastered" version. Just low. Anyway, I'm not paying $80 to play a game I played just a few years ago. And I didn't like it that much the first time around.
I'm thrilled about that. Because this entire game ripped off TellTale's Walking Dead plotline, just with a white guy and a white girl instead of a black guy and a black girl. This entire franchise was ridiculous, both the game and the story. I still can't believe they didn't get sued.
Im safe this month. NOthing that peeks my interest. Still dont understand why anyone would buy a remastered version of a game that only came out a few years ago. To me its just a money grab, and thousands of suckers fall for this scam all the time.
Yep. And split it into two parts, as the the PS5 can't handle the entire game in one go. I won't be buying the PS6, this is it for me. I've found all of three games I enjoyed on the PS5, and two of them were from 2005 and 2012.
Guess I'll be checking back again in February to see if anything is worth playing. Most of these games look like best of 2011 games. Nothing much has changed since then. What happened? I look every month for something worth playing, try out a couple of games, and it's the same lame "run around this castle looking for X" or "walk through the dark woods with a flashlight and see if you can find X" or "Chase down this guy on a motorcycle."
Even games like Prince of Persia look like they've just stuck new characters in an ESO map. It's infuriating.
