Don't let the audiophiles scare you off. I bought a set of $25 Logitech 2.1s and they're much better than regular old computer speakers. I've never spent the time (or money) to check out other options but these speakers suit my needs just fine and I'm completely happy with them.

What? Are you really THAT cheap? If you're even mildly interested in a game, $2.00 is hardly anything to sweat over. I've spent more on cell phone games, on a whim, because I was bored at the moment.

Batman: Arkham City, Mass Effect 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and/or Half-Life 3 (I know, wishful thinking).

I loved both games. They're both great in their own way. They really don't play all that much differently. I do believe the story in the first game was better, though. They should be played in order, as intended. Here's looking forward to an epic finale in ME3!
