The biggest reason i don't think it will be downloadable is that it is still a full game, just completely multiplayer.  Also, Sony has repeatedly stated that there will be no purchase from the PS store over 15$.  Incognito has been planning to take full advantage of Blue ray's capacity since starting the development.  Even though it is now all multiplayer, they are still using the same maps, vehicles, and physics engine, so i doubt it will be a download.

Socom is by far my favorite franchise, and I have every single Socom game including the mobile one, execpt for Combined assault becasue i spent a crap load of money on My PS3.  If Zipper came out with some new trailers for the socom 4 for the ps3, i would be estatic.  SOCOM's biggest weakness has always been graphics, while its strength has been online gameplay.  If they could continue to improve the gameplay while harnesting the full graphic power of the PS3, SOCOM could finally become Sonys Killer App and compete with Halo.

That would be extremely sweet and would also allow for a number of cool game modes.  If it is not in the initial release, it probably will be in an update or patch.

The best one in my opinion is Warhawk, as long as you like multiplayer games, because it is multiplayer only.

I have a Mitsubishi Diamond Edition 52'' 1080i and my PS3 looks brilliant in HD when automatically scaled to 720p.  I just choose optimal settings and it's good to go..farleybt

What do you mean "Automatically Scaled" Do you use a seperate scaler or does your tv hav a built in scaler? Because i have a Mitsibishi Medallion 60 inch

I am absolutly sure because i have one of the first HDTV's and mine, along with most of the other people with older HDTV's, is a CRT, or a tube, and most of these can't display 720p, but are remarkable at 1080i.  Trust me, I am sure.
