OK I need some serious help.

I Have a 2001 Mitsubishi CRT HDTV television. The picture is great but it doesn't have any DVI or HDMI, but it does have component inputs and a DTV which my Digital cable goes through. My question is is it true that there is no way to get HD picture from my PS3?
