Really wouldn't get too excited about this, looks like it's just a mistake in the webcode or something.

Lmao, who would want to play GTA in India? You wouldn't be able to see more than 100 meters because of all the pollution. I wish they'd make a GTA set in Tokyo/Osaka or Hong Kong, those would fit the GTA setting at least...
I have a very capable PC for gaming, it's hooked up to my HDTV and I have a wireless keyboard, mouse and a 360 controller, so I can use it just like a console. Still I DO prefer playing on a console, the exclusives are just way better than most stuff for PC nowadays.. I bought Skyrim and the Witcher 2 for PC also some of the multiplat games, if they run really bad on consoles.. overall though I mainly choose my consoles for gaming, it's much less hassle and I do enjoy earning trophies which also is far more rewarding on consoles than it is on PC.
I'm fully aware games usually look and run better on my PC but I simply don't care all that much.. Tell me three PC exclusive in the recent years with the quality of games like Uncharted, Dark Souls or Red Dead Redemtion.. And please no MMOs..
The price point is also very valid. Yes, you can get a PC that runs stuff equally like a console for not much more than the price of the console but doesn't that kinda ruin most of the points PC gamers always bring up? I needed to shed out 230€ for a GPU that lets me play recent games at 40-60 FPS @ 1080p another 190€ for the CPU, 90€ for the mainboard, 60€ for the RAM and the list goes on..
A PS3 costs 250€ including a game and the 360 is even cheaper...
In conclusion, if you really want "superior" gaming on PC you need to shed out atleast twice the money...
[QUOTE="xath2305"]Sorry but it's not only early revisions this problem is still present, I bought a just released Ice White 3DS and it still DOES get smudges/scratches I had to put on a screenprotector and bumpers wich is kinda ridiculous considerind it's a clampshell design which should prevent scratches, not cause them.. I guess thats the price they payed for going with 2 different screen sizes which is a poor decision IMO.[QUOTE="NamelessPlayer"]3DS advantages: -Early-revision 3DSs have build quality issues with a couple of top screen bumpers not being long enough to keep the two halves separate when closed, so you'll eventually have a couple of scratches on the top screen left behind by the border around the bottom screen, in addition to marks left by the Circle Pad. I usually expect better build quality than that from the Big N. LastRambo341
As for circle pad vs analog stick, it's all opinion, I like them equally but playing with the circle pad ugly just feels odd with the screen being off center. Not to mention it's unusable with games that don't support it (wich is pretty much all of them.. sony can make PSP games compatible with the 2nd stick why nintendo can't?).. why the hell did they make it connect via IR? Oh and you can't change games or remove the stylus while it's attached lol.. what where they thinking when designing this abomination? Anyway, it's still more comfortable playing with it..
Don't get the wrong picture tho, I absolutely love the 3DS but I wish I waited for the next revision. Screen scratching itself, the really bad bad BAD viewing angle in 3D mode and the abyssmal batterylife are really big flaws (Vita doesn't do much better here). I'm sure the 3DS lite/XL or whatever it will be called will be a hell lot better..
1) Screen-scratching? Take care of your stuff because I don't see SCRATCHES on my mine 2) What bad viewing angle? No issues here 3) You want them to get a "better battery" which will increase the cost? Turn brightness, wifi and 3D off. 4) Have fun waiting for 2-3 years, they are not coming anytime soon1)Just because YOUR unit is not affected (which I doubt) doesn't mean it doesn't happen on others, there are plenty of threads about this issue all over the internet. It's a design flaw, deal with it.. Oh and btw I'm taking very good care of my stuff thanks for your concern...
2)So you are telling me you don't get double vision and lose the 3D effect when you tilt the 3DS ever so slightly to the left or right? Interesting.. you must have very special eyes, maybe thats why you don't see the smudges/scratches too?
3)I'm having my brightness set at 2 and I even have the battery saving option turned on, which makes the contrast look like crap and still battery life is crap.. Batteries are not expensive anymore, I bought an ORIGINAL samsung extended battery for my Galaxy SII (2000 mah, almost double the size of the 3DS's) including a back cover for 18 Euros (which is already overpriced). I would glady spend that amount to have double the battery life.
4)I already own a 3DS and I'm happy with it but it has it's flaws...

Lmao this has to be the most retarded thread I've seen in a very long time!
Tell me OP what do you think is more comfortable to play ON THE GO, like in a train, bus or a plane?
vs
You wouldn't even be able to place all the crap in most cases (how are you going to use the mouse while riding the bus?) a Laptop will be a hell lot more comfortable.. this whole thread is a waste of space and a pathetic attempt to make the VITA look bad.. Please make sure you take a picture of yourself playing the witcher 2 on your win8 tablet in a crowded bus. I bet if MS would announce a portable console tomorrow you would change your mind again..
i dont have the bow yet but i have to disagree with the sling shot. the system used in TP was much better for aiming. if they had that augmented with WM+ so that when im off the pointer range it will turn the camera faster and still allow me to aim it would have been much better for SS. in saying that...yea its not a complete game breaker or anything. the WM+ system works. im still able to hit what i want to hit at the end of the day with the slingshot. its just not an ideal setup imho.[QUOTE="osan0"][QUOTE="alcabcucu"]
Agreed. Though in my opinion this doesn't have any impact on the gameplay. In fact, and again this is just my opinion, I do not think it is sloppy, but it takes some time for the player to adjust to a new aiming system. In fact, in my humble opinion it is a much better way for handling the slingshot or the bow.

I bet that not using the IR camera was a design choice that allows you to play the game, in your sofa or in any position without the need to point at the television. You could play it while lying down. You don't need stop to change the position you are playing, that why I love this control scheme: motion controls that don't stop the flow of the action.
If they had that in mind it's horrible executed because it's simply not possible. You cannot play this lying on your couch. I really want to see you try rolling a bomb while you lie down comfortable on your couch. You have to sit pretty straight towards the screen otherwise the controls get inaccurate and confusing. I spend around 35 hours with this game and believe me I do know how the controls work.
Wow guys, it's NOT just the (motion) controls being criticized in this game, did you guys even read the full review or are you just gunna keep quoting tiny bits to "prove" your own opinion. I did not have many problems with the controls but there are flaws, you don't even have a freely moveable camera (except FPV) when it could have been easily done on the d-pad without taking away space for items. It feels akward just being able to center the cam behind you and it doesn't stop there, Links movement isn't as smooth as it should be you will fall when you try jumping quite some times because you can't frigging adjust the cam and movement is slightly clunky. It won't happen very often but it DOES! Oh and you can't even walk while swinging your sword wich is kinda silly too.. All the control issues I just listed didn't have anything to do with the motion controls itself right? I'm not gunna start with gameplay flaws or what I didn't like in the game because I already did and well, it would be my opinion..
This game isn't perfect, yes a 7.5 score might be a little too low but it isn't a 10 it's not even close to that! They should have given it an 8 but I guess you guys would still be ranting like you do.. hell even if it got a 9 you would be pissed..
@wiifan001 Yeh, I bet it's gunna be a totally unbiased review you gunna give us, who are you kidding.. It's one thing to be a fanboy, it's another to be simply ignorant. You don't even HAVE the game and you already say everything he says is bullcrap, you already made up your mind before even trying the game. How do you know the other reviewers didn't have problems and just didn't mention them? Even if you gunna struggle with the controls you will not admit it because you will make yourself look like a tool, so much for your credibillity. And well let's just say the name doesn't help you to be taken serious, I highly doubt you could rate any Nintendo game neutral.. Also did you just try to insult me because of my post count? ok... lol
Btw like I said before I am considering myself somewhat a Nintendo and Zelda fanboy and for that very reason I'm deeply disappointed because the game didn't meet my expectations..
Tom's personal control issues established that he got his facts wrong and experienced the game using the controls all wrong. And Tom said in an interview following the review that controls are the most important piece, which he did incorrectly. The rest of his review can't be determined by most (including myself) because we don't have a copy of it yet. But be sure that I will continue to further contradict Tom McShea's other potentially wrong facts and wrong opinions.wiifan001
How exactly can someones opinion be wrong? It's his opinion, maybe you have a different one but that doesn't mean he doesn't have valid points that just don't apply to you. And no offence but judging by your name you probably won't be critical with any game Nintendo spits out...
I am a big fan of Zelda and Majoras Mask still is one of my most favourit games of all times. This one just lacks in some departments and it's my least favourit Zelda game so far.
Anyway, it's just a score and it still says "Good" doesn't it? And thats what the game is, it's good not more but also not less..
[QUOTE="xath2305"]More towns and a big overworld = higher rated game? Ok then...It's not the controls making this a low rated game, it's the game itself and the lack of an overworld, npcs and towns.. The best thing about this game is actually the music, wich is pretty outstanding and prolly the thing I enjoy most.
wiifan001
Thats not how I meant it, I just mentioned the bad rating because it looks like people here keep ranting about McShea rating this game low because of control issues alone wich isn't true.. It's not only the controls making this a less enjoyable game, it's the whole package. While I don't have much of a problem with the controls, it's still a lackluster game, it feels just really empty and dull at times... Of course all this is just my opinion.
