You can't seriously believe that dithering you see in those lousy photoshopped screenshots will be actually in the game do you? It's so obvious it has been added later on or is caused by bad compression or some sort of post processing..

It's not the controls making this a low rated game, it's the game itself and the lack of an overworld, npcs and towns.. The best thing about this game is actually the music, wich is pretty outstanding and prolly the thing I enjoy most.

I consider myself a big Zelda fan and maybe 7.5 is a bit too low but after roughly 30 hours of playing I can say this is probably my least favourit Zelda game. The controls DO WORK most of the time but I find myself calibrating them every 30 mins or so because they just get more and more inaccurate over time and depending how you hold the Wiimote. It gets pretty uncomfortable always pointing the Wiimote torwards the screen and if you get comfortable you will find yourself recalibrating and recentering pretty often.

The controls are not the dealbreaker for me, for me it's the fact that there is no real overworld. Flying your bird seems pretty pointless to me and it gets annoying because there is nothing to look at nor is there anything to do while flying... a few islands in the air with treasure chests and 2-3 minigames are nothing compared to the many handcrafted towns in OoT, MM or TWP. there are barely any NPCs beside Skyloft and let's be honest Skyloft is a pretty boring place there really isn't that much to do and it's a joke if compared to Clocktown imo.

As much as I'm trying to love this game, I can't.. I really miss the many towns and races, it just doesn't feel like a full Zelda game to me it's dungeon after dungeon and even the parts that come before a dungeon play like dungeons.. I'm very disappointed with this game, there are a few really fun boss fights and some clever dungeon designs but this game really doesn't feel like the Zelda games I grew to love so much. I hope for the next Zelda we will have a huge overworld again and nice towns and plenty of races to discover..
