Movie: A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 4: The Dream Master, 1988

Type: Horror

After beating the mad murderer Freddy Krueger in part 3, the Elm Street kids hope to put the past behind them for good.  But when Kristan begins to have strange dreams, she fears that Freddy might be back.  Her friends Joey and Kicain say that if she keeps thinking about him, he will come back.  When Kristan shows up school she notices that Joey and Kicain aren't there.  Kristan has another dream, and this time she sees Freddy.  Freddy tells Kristan that she is the last of the Elm Street kids and he needs her help to get to the new kids on the block, Kristan refuses and Freddy kills her, before Kristan dies she pulls her new friend Alice into her dreams and gives Alice her power to pull people into her dreams.  Alice unaware of what has happened, but when her friends begin to die, she realizes that Freddy is using her to get to friends.  Alice must figure out a way to stop Freddy before he gets to rest of the Elm Street kids.

Once again the Elm Street sequels have failed to live up to the oringnal one.  This is a ok movie full of good scares, and some good wisecracks by yours truely Freddy Krueger.  But still the first Elm Street movie is still the best, the sequels are ok.

Movie: A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 5: The Dream Child, 1989

Type: Horror

Having defeated the serial killer Freddy Krueger, Alice, her boyfriend Dan, and her friends Mark, Greta, and Yovonne, graduate from high school hoping for a good future together.  Alice has strange dream where she is in a mental institution, and she is called Amanda Krueger by people.  Alice fears that Freddy might be back, but Dan says not to worry about it.  But when Alice has the same dream again, she witnesses Amanda Krueger giving birth to her son Freddy, Alice follows Freddy and Freddy proclaims that he's back.  Alice tries to contact Dan but she's imformed that he died in a car accident.  Alice is becomes delusional and is rushed to the hospital, the doctors say Alice pregnant.  Alice knows that Freddy killed Dan, she knows that Freddy uses her dreams to get to people, but how could Freddy had killed Dan if Alice was awake?  Alice and her friends must uncover Freddy's plan before he gets to them.

Again this just isn't as good as the first one.  I like these movies don't get me wrong, but the first is the best because they didn't know who it was killing people in their sleep, making it a bit more suspenseful.  An ok movie, but the the first one will always be the best.

I guess being outside in that cold weather during that football game that cold made a comeback.  I felt ok this morning, but when I got to school, I couldn't breath through my nose, and I felt like I going to pass out.  So I stayed home today, took some advil, and felt a little better.  I should be better by tommarow, 'cause the cold is almost gone.

I have been trying to write some reviews on Halo and Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and when I'm done writing, this thing pops up says I need to have a least 100 words, so I type exactly 100 words in the review a press sumbit.  After I click submit the page then says the review has to have minium of 100 words, so delete a few words, click submit again, and that same pop-up comes and says I need to have 100 words.  God which is it!?! 100 words or less than 100 words!?! make up your mind GameSpot!!!

Well I mentioned earlier that I was sick and couldn't make it to my last football, but I started to feel better and showed up at the game today.  We lost 45-14, I had 2 tackles, but still I had  a good time.  I'm glad I changed my mind 'cause I don't think I'm doing high school football next year.

I'm actually glad it's all over if you ask me, 'cause my team sucked we went 1-5 on the season and the last game is today.  But I'm not gonna make it to the game 'cause I'm sick, I have a cold or somrthin'.  But still football was ok this year I got to play alot, I was a defensive lineman for the entire season, I don't think I'll play football when I get into high school next year though.  I'll wish my team luck on the field later today as well.

Movie: Friday the 13th Part 3, 1982

Type: Horror

A few days have passed since the bloody massacre at Camp Crystal Lake, the survivors of the bloodbath escaped by killing the madman himself, the once thought to be dead Jason Voorhees.  With Jason dead the residents of Crystal Lake can finally move on.  Some new high school friends show up at the camp hoping to have the time of their lives.  But little do they know that the final blow Jason received didn't finish him off, and now Jason is lurking in the woods waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Once again the series seems progress on with the same elements from the previous flims, not much changes really, except in this one Jason finally gets his hockey mask which is good news.  But still this franchise stilled hasn't wowed me enough, but I'm gonna keep trying.

Movie: Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, 1984

Type: Horror

The once thought to be dead Jason Voorhees resurfaced again and continued the rampage at Camp Crystal Lake, but the lone survivor managed to deliver the final blow and finishing off Jason.  But the last strike didn't kill Jason, only knocking him out, and as soon as Jason wakes up from his knocked out state he escapes the hospial and goes right back to Camp Crystal Lake, where some care free friends and a family await him.

Although this is called "The Final Chapter" a year later they made another so I just want to be clear with that, and that's basically why I call it part 4 'cause we all know it doesn't end here.  This is slightly better than the other three films but I still have a lot more to go, so stay tuned for more Friday the 13th movie reviews.

Movie: Friday the 13th Part 2, 1981

Type: Horror

Starring: no famous people :P

Several years have passed since the murderous rampage of Mrs. Voorhees was killed in self-defense by a camp counceler of the infamous Camp Crystal Lake or dubbed "Camp Blood" by the town residents.  Mrs. Voorhees went on the killing spree because of her only son Jason drowned at Camp Crystal Lake while the councelers weren't watching him.  But now Camp Crystal Lake is closed down, and Jason and his insane mother have become an urban legend in the town, and a new camp has opened and the town residents want to put the past behind them.  But for the new camp councelers, the story of Jason will go from a legend to horrifying experience.

Slightly better than the first one, better suspense and more background info on Jason and ect.  But still this series hasn't really scared me yet, but hey that's why they made more of these.

Movie: A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge, 1985

Type: Horror

Several years have passed since the mysterious deathes of some residents who lived on Elm Street.  But the residents want to put the past behind them.  A new family moves on the block, the son named Jesse begins to have strange dreams about a man with knives attached to his fingers.  The mysterious man tells Jesse that he wants him to kill for him.  Jesse assumes it's just a bad dream, when his witnesses his gym teacher brutally murdered, Jesse finds himself with the blood on his hands.  Jesse figures out the man is long dead child murderer Freddy Krueger and Freddy is posessing Jesse to do his killing and will soon take over his body completely.  Jesse and his friends must stop Freddy before he gets loose in the real world.

This wasn't bad for a sequel, but it just lacked what the first one had.  So this is a good movie, but the first one was a little better.  The one problem I had with this movie was there were a lot of homosexual themes which is the main reason why this isn't as good as the first one.

Ok, once again I said I wasn't gonna be around, but I'm back again.  Here's the deal with my punishment: I can't play games or get on the computer until my parents say it's ok.  I'm very sorry for all the confusion I caused, I thought my parents were flip-floping my punishment around and I didn't know if I was allowed on or not, 'cause they kept saying I could be online after all my homework was done but I couldn't get on the next day and then the next day I finish my work and they allow me back on. :P  So once again I'm sorry for the confusion , good news is I'M BACK FOR GOOD!!!
