Here's the news with me, my parents told me that I can't play video games or get on the computer, but since I've been showing progress with my school work I'm allowed online today. :)  But sadly, my parents aren't gonna let me online for awhile until my report card shows up, good news is that the first quarter of school ends tomarrow, but sadly the report card won't show up at my house for a week or two.  So I'll be on GS today, but maybe not next week. :( 

My parents kicked me off the computer and video games because I'm not doing good in science and social studies at school.  To make it worse I have no homework today, what am I supposed to do for the next 3 hours 'till football practice?! :(

Movie: Flags of our Fathers, 2006

Type: War/Drama

Starring: no famous people :P

The men who raised the flag after the battle of Iwo Jima are welcomed back as heroes, and the famous photo of the flag raising gives the country hope and fate in winning the war.  Each soldier struggles with war flashbacks, racial haterd, and the media popularity.  But for the soldiers, they all know deep down they're aren't heroes, the soldiers who didn't come back are the real heroes and all the fame, popularity should be given credit to them for fighting and dying for their country, not to them who just raised a flag on a mountain.

This movie was incredible, there was great action, great drama, acting, special effects, plot, everything about it was perfect.  THis movies deserves a ton of Oscars, hopefully it will get like 6-7 Oscars, because this is the best flim I've seen in theaters this year.

I give Flags of our Fathers: 4 stars

Movie: Red Dragon, 2003

Type: Drama/Horror

Starring: Anthony Hopkins, and Edward Norton

Before "The Silence of the Lambs" there was "Red Dragon" as you venture into the first part of the Dr. Hannibal Lecter trilogy.

F.B.I. agent Will Graham (Norton) did the impossible, capturing the murderous insane Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Hopkins) alive.  Will is tramatized my the arrest of Lecter and quits the F.B.I.  Some years later Will contacted by F.B.I. and asks him to track down vile serial killer nicknamed "Red Dragon"  Will knows he can't do it alone, so he meets Hannibal in prison and asks him to use his psychological knowledge to help catch Red Dragon.  Hannibal agrees to help, and now Will with the help of Hannibal must rack down Red Dragon before it's too late.

This was way better then The Silence of the Lambs!  One Jodie Foster wasn't in it because her voice is annoying, and two the action was way better.  I don't get why this didn't win any Oscars, it was awsome.  Overall this is a great horror drama movie, you won't be disappointed.

I give Red Dragon: 4 stars
