@ssaviola85 Back in the day, it was a very common thing to see gaming websites compare multi-platform titles based on the consoles they were released on.

For example, I remember when Prince of Persia: Sands of Time released, the reviews specifically mentioned the graphic detail, average frame rate, and bugs for each particular console that the game was released on.. Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox.

Quite frankly, why they did away with the hardware comparisons for multi-platform titles is beyond me, and the fact that you took a second to insult someone based on something such as this makes you look a little pathetic, honestly.

It's a shame you're willing to miss out on a good game just because you dislike the voice actor for the single player campaign.

You couldn't be more shallow if you tried.

@AggrandizedUser While my laptop can handle most modern games on lowest settings, it's far from a gaming laptop, and it runs Sims 3 just fine. Maybe you should consider getting a new graphics card.

@At3fD It's great how anyone who talks against Microsoft is immediately labeled a Sony fanboy in your eyes.

Your trolling skills need improved.

@Ayebang Eh.

- XBL is no better or worse than PSN in terms of gameplay, I've always heard people say this but as an avid gamer who's used both for more than my fair share of time, they're practically identical. Laggy games don't happen unless you're playing with others who are foreign, or have bad connections.. but the same thing can, and does, happen on Xbox. Now if we're talking about features and overall layout, I'd give it to Xbox, mostly for Party Chat, but this is something that's coming to the PS4 anyway.

- I don't want a Smart TV anyway.

- Sony has had cloud saves on the PS3 for a while now, and it's just as good as the 360's cloud storage, so I don't know where you're getting this from.

- Sure, the technology behind the Kinect is better than the Eye, but at least the Eye isn't mandatory. Don't get me wrong, from a game developing standpoint I understand why Microsoft wants to keep it hardwired into the console, so that developers are encouraged to actually use it in their games. However, this doesn't change the fact that I, along with many, many others, don't want it.

- I'm actually fine with this, I was one of the few people who didn't utterly hate Windows 8, and in fact, I'm quite a fan of it. So we'll see where this goes.

- Fair enough, though I'm wondering just how many cable/satellite boxes will have some sort of incompatible, buggy glitches going on at launch, or even throughout the consoles lifecycle. With the way you describe it, bugs are abound.

- Yes, but again, most people don't want the Kinect, or at the very least, would rather an alternative, one that didn't include the Kinect. But Microsoft clearly isn't going to back down from this, and anyone thinking so is employing wishful thinking at best.

- Fair enough, but after Microsoft has been busted with PRISM, along with Skype's endeavors into data collection, I'm wary of this. A nice feature and all, but again, eh.

@TMBreezy @aci808 Yeah, the Xbox One would've been the next Steam right? Give me a break. When has Microsoft EVER shared the level of generosity that Valve does for digital games sales? I'll answer that question for you, never.

Maybe after a few years of the X1's lifecycle we would've seen some mark-downs on older games, but not until the system had a solid library behind it. What Microsoft was trying to do with the X1 when it was announced is similar to how Origin is now. Exclusive games from a particular publisher, at full retail, with nary a sale in sight.

@VagrantChrisX @aci808 You do know that both consoles will be building games on the x86 architecture, right? Therefore, ports will be much simpler to make. So if we do see 'tons of ports', if anything, they'll probably get touch-ups to make the PS4 edition prettier. :P
