Nintendo holding Wii U event Sept. 13

@abHS4L88 @abnergoinbig hahahaha yep you know if Nintendo can handle the sales and manain them good they could make a great balance between their charming and stuning games and other games with creative, blowing ideas. A mix of both kind of gaming would be cool, lets hope the best.

Maybe, maybe not, what I know right now is that I'm absolutely positive the Wii U will deliver games I will love to play time and time again. If Sony/Microsoft's next systems appeal to me, then I can wait 2 years after the Wii U to get one of those (and my dad can have my 360, haha).

@abHS4L88 @abnergoinbig Wii U doesn´t looks bad, but I suggest you to wait! Maybe the other 2 have something good to offer, and I´m sure you want more than those games :P

Understandable, I might be interested in getting Ninja Gaiden 3 also if Nintendo was successful in working with Team Ninja to make it a much better game.

I already want Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends (still haven't even finished Origins though :P), New Super Mario Bros. U, Project P-100 and Assassin's Creed 3 for it so I'm good until more games come out, plus I still have my Wii library I need to finish :P

Although i know they're going to feature some connectivity between the Wii U and 3DS, I know they'll share the same online service so yeah.

Indeed it will BUT it will skyrocket the cost of the GamePad since the GamePad will require it's own GPU/CPU.

@abHS4L88 @CleanPlayer I know what the GamePad is captable to do what I mean is that Nintendo would make it big if kids, and people could take the tablet and using it, maybe even for connection between the 3DS doesn´t sound cool, I think the gamepad may have the captabilities to do that!

@abHS4L88 Trying something new is fine but don’t expect people to pay a lot more money just for innovation. If Nintendo are going to charge more they need to give more, it's that simple.

I understand, but at the same time, Sony and Microsoft have almost always simply updated their systems with each new entry and haven't really tried anything different, and although I believe their next home consoles will be something different for once, Nintendo always dares to change things up so for me, I know I'll be getting a great value from the Wii U.

@abHS4L88 @Yulaw2000 he means that if Nintendo wants us to pay 300 350 or even more they need to make the console values it, with good games, the captabilities and power of the console, and gaming experience

Significant amount more? Even if it's $350, it's $100 more than the PS3, which is 6 years old and the Wii U is brand new and will be able to play next generation games.

Never the less, Nintendo can't expect us to pay a significant amount more money unless the can offer us a significant amount more for that money.

I know in terms of power PCs have made massive leaps, but in visuals, yes it's obvious that the visuals are stunning on PCs compared to consoles BUT I'm saying that the leap isn't as big as the previous generation and home consoles can never match PCs if it hopes to be affordable.

As for the PS4 being 10x more powerful, I only see that happening if they decide to either launch the PS4 within the next two years at $600 again or wait until 2016 when the technology is more affordable. Either way will be highly damaging to Sony so I honestly don't see that happening.

@abHS4L88 @Yulaw2000 What?! PC's made huge leaps and right now PC is blowing the consoles out of the water when it comes to hardware. I dont even own a PC and can admit that. Sony already stated that they will not release a PS4 until it can be 10x more powerful than the PS3.

This is Nintendo's first entry to HD so obviously they're not going to blow us out of the water with the visuals of their games just yet (although I think Pikmin 3 looks quite amazing) plus there's also the question on whether or not the next gen Playstation and XBox will also make another leap, which is likely not going to happen, especially considering that PC's haven't even made that much of a jump in the past 6 years.

@Brokazaki Hmm, I'm inclined to agree, but I think that's more out of necessity than anything. When Sony first entered the console arena, it challenged Nintendo not with first party software, but with third party support. That is the backbone of the Playstation brands success: a strong third party library.

Nintendo, on the other hand, succeeds on the consistent quality of its first party titles. It has a legacy, and it uses that succeed. I don't think Nintendo is going to challenge any of its competitors on the third party front without a significant push in that area.

While I would like to agree, Sony does bust out a lot of new IPs also, but you're right about majority of their most notable titles being from 3rd parties.

You need to realize though that Nintendo makes many more New first/second party IPs than Sony or Microsoft. Look at the best Xbox/PS3 titles and most of them are third party, even if exclusive

Intelligent is 2nd party, they're the ones who make the Fire Emblem and Advanced Wars games.
