Everyday is Christmas for the collector.  That looks like a Walmart price to me.

Good eye.  Funny thing was, they had a couple standalone bongos...for the same price.

Yesterday I went into the Babbage's in my local mall just to humor myself at the price of ZOE2 once again, but this time was different: Zone of the Enders 2: The 2nd Runner, PS2, box and manual are near mint; disc is fair, complete, $24.99 kill.switch, PS2, fair condition, complete, $7.99 Guess they were finally tired of their precious $40 price tag not getting it done. Yays!

Nope, haven't seen the anime. This is actually my very first thing related to ZOE.

you can't play 2 without beating 1... it's linear! I'd also suggest beating FoM and watching Idolo then Dolores, I.

Today, I went back to a little mom-and-pop video rental place in a nearby town that I saw on the way back from San Antonio yesterday. When I saw the store, they were closed but had a sign "Nintendo" in the window, so I thought that they might have some old carts to sell. They did. All were markered SNES ex-rentals without instruction manuals, but all were boxed at $6 apiece. Here's what I got:

1. Kirby's Avalanche, shelf-worn box, n. mint cart
2. Lagoon, shelf-worn box, n. mint cart
3. Phalanx, shelf-worn box, n. mint cart w/ cart holder
4. Power Piggs of the Dark Age, shelf-worn box with a torn flap, v. fine cart (I had not heard of this Titus-published game previously)
5. Rival Turf!, shelf-worn box with torn flap, v. fine cart
6. Thunder Spirits, shelf-worn box, n. mint cart

I passed on the other 8 they had, which were mostly basketball and football games with the exceptions of Super Black Bass, Chaos in the Windy City, and B.O.B.

I've seen the topic, but would greatly appreciate a link if you have it handy. Sadly, I'll be adding more tomorrow since I'll be picking my my pre order of Elebits and will likely find other goodies while out.

I'm a big fan of the X'Eye.  It's pretty easy to install a region switch in one.

Holy Cow!  Who did you get to appreciate this before you came here?  I'm glad you found us.  There are some good Sega CD games there, and the Lynx is a nice pick-up.  Did you have one already?  I have a dead one (the original size) and have a junior available to me if I want to by it, but I'd much prefer to buy the original.

I used to chat about this stuff at my home topic on GameFAQs . This is my first Lynx and it's been a long time coming.

Damage Report for Wednesday December 13th

I go to EB to pick up my Elebits pre order and much to my chagrin they don't have the free Elebits plush toy that I was supposed to get. This same store also didn't have my Castlevania Portrait of Ruin pre order. This causes me to ask for my money back for both games. The manager immediately gets on the phone and magically finds both bonus items at another EB and has them hold them for me. I then pay for and carry out Elebits and Castlevania: PoR and head to the other store to get my goodies.

When I arrive at the store they get my items along with another copy of Elebits...

pika: I already bought the game at the first store.

EB: Yeah, we know.

pika: [Thinks to himself] They can't be this stupid...

EB: Thank you for your business.

pika: [Scampers out of the store] Giggity! Gigggity! Giggity! Giggity! Giggity! Giggity! Goo!

Also on the menu: Kya: Dark Lineage (PS2), Xyanide (Xbox), Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth (Xbox)

Then I arrive home and find a package from ebay. It's the 16 Saturn games that I bought for $36.
  1. Ghen War
  2. Braindead 13
  3. Soviet Strike
  4. Die Hard Trilogy
  5. Spot Goes Hollywood
  6. Battle Arena Toshinden Ultimate Revenge Attack
  7. Robotica
  8. Madeen NFL '97
  9. Alien Trilogy
  10. Golden Axe: The Duel
  11. World Series Baseball II
  12. Tempest 2000
  13. Nascar '98
  14. NFL Quarterback Club '97
  15. Croc: Legend of the Gobos
  16. Virtua Fighter 2
Side Note: I was supposed to get Super Robot Taisen 2, but the clerk at GameStop gave me part 1 by accident. I didn't notice until I got home due to the extreme distraction caused by her wonderfuly cleavagelicious bosom. I'll be back tomorrow to correct that.

Holy Cow! Who did you get to appreciate this before you came here? I'm glad you found us. There are some good Sega CD games there, and the Lynx is a nice pick-up. Did you have one already? I have a dead one (the original size) and have a junior available to me if I want to by it, but I'd much prefer to buy the original.

Hey, how much is that junior, i need a lynx myself and i dont own either type...

And damn you Pika X_X i wanted elibits...

I guess if you are going to get distracted, it might as well be via "cleavagelicious bosom!"

Just picked up Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter.  I have to say, it was a bit underrated.  Just a bit.  Still not as good as the first one, though.

[QUOTE="pikadeth"]Damage Report for Wednesday December 13th

I go to EB to pick up my Elebits pre order and much to my chagrin they don't have the free Elebits plush toy that I was supposed to get. This same store also didn't have my Castlevania Portrait of Ruin pre order. This causes me to ask for my money back for both games. The manager immediately gets on the phone and magically finds both bonus items at another EB and has them hold them for me. I then pay for and carry out Elebits and Castlevania: PoR and head to the other store to get my goodies.

When I arrive at the store they get my items along with another copy of Elebits...

I'm a big fan of Golden Axe: The Duel, and good price on the Saturn lot.

Only one game today:

Metroid Prime Pinball for $3.50 at Kmart. I wasn't really looking to buy anything, but how could I pass that up.

I wouldn't be able to pass that up either, at least not for a measly $3.50.

That's great.  For me not to buy a new game that was $3.50 it would have to have a label on it that said, 'Contains illegal content and does not function.  Will break console.'

Yeah, that's a stellar deal.  I'd like to pick that one up for anything under ~$20.

I went back and exchanged Super Robot Taisen for it's sequel. The same woman with the same cleavage was there, but I kept my eye on the price... most of the time.

Very nice.  I have not played the PoPs yet but I played Jak 3 until I was 10 hours in until I got frustrated with it.
