I couldn't resist the call of Beggar Prince and also picked up Club House Games for the DS.

Very punny.
I've been on somewhat of a pre-holiday game buying "freeze" lately, but I was out Christmas shopping yesterday and couldn't help myself to a few items:
Sears:
Neo Contra PS2 $9.99 new
Astonishia Story PSP $9.99 new
Death Jr. PSP $9.99 new
GameStop:
Rolan's Curse GB $4.99 used - cart only (I've wanted this one for a long time.)
Harvest Moon GB GB $12.99 used - cart only
Battle Bull GB free used - cart only (Doesn't work! Will have to return.)
Best Buy:
Exit PSP $9.99 new
great 9.99 buys! great GB games, they probably won't let you return the free one... maybe with enough argument they'll let you switch it for an equally priced game...I've been on somewhat of a pre-holiday game buying "freeze" lately, but I was out Christmas shopping yesterday and couldn't help myself to a few items:

I just checked the receipt and Rolan's Curse was the freebie anyway. (Luckily it's working fine. :)) They were both $4.99. Store credit or an exchange would be fine by me. :P
The contacts on Battle Bull look fine, but I'm still gonna try to clean it up (which will hopefully fix it) before taking it back.

I've been putting bids in for PDS for months and never won. I was waiting for a moment just like yesterday when people just didn't notice the auction for whatever reason.
@_@
I'll be going to Toys R Us today with the "Select PSP Games for $9.99" coupon that they sent me. I may pick up a 360 if they have any in stock since they're giving away $100 gift cards if you buy one this week.

Ya, If you are patient, sometimes you can get pretty good deals on things through Ebay. I still firmly believe that paying $100+ for any game, especially an old one, is something that the average Joe has no interest in doing. This leads to the minority of people who do highly value these old classics being able to occasionally get them at good prices.
[QUOTE="pikadeth"]Wow. Those people really are CRAZY! Any way. I won that 3DO auction that I posted in the "is it worth it" topic. I didn't get the chance to BUY IT NOW since I hesitated and some idiot came along and bid on it. Still not a bad deal for $165.Ok, I misunderstood your earlier post. I thought that you were the seller, not the potential buyer. Also, is your recent pace of game buying typical? It seems like you'd have a much bigger collection if you'd have kept this up for long.

GameBoy Micro - new $80 AUS (62 US)
Grandia 2 - used, complete $17 AUS (13 US)
Premiere Edition Zelda: TP Wii version Guide - Prima $29 AUS (20 US)
Then went on to a Cash Converts (large scale second hand dealer here in Australia)
Metal Gear Solid 3 snake eater - used, complete, non-platinum $12 AUS (8 US)
Michael Jackson's moonwalker - master system, case/cart only $4 AUS (3 US)

The Castlevania Adventure - GameBoy, cart only $8 (6 US)
The Legend of Zelda a link to the past - GBA, cart and manual only - $16 AUS (12 US)
Then went to a dodgy as second hand dealer who was selling pirates of N64, PS1, etc and was over charging on almost every thing. But I did pick up some nice deals.
Playstation the best PaRappaTheRapper - sealed (!) ***, $10 AUS (7 US)
Rayman - PS1, disc only $10 (7 US)
Yoshi's Cookie - SNES, *** $5 AUS (3 US)
Last stop was a Tarbaco/second hand shop who over priced things rather oddly, eg a copy of Starwing (loose) was going for $40 AUS (31 US) while other games were going for $20 AUS (14 US) and where complete.
Banjo-tooie - cart only $10 (7 US)
I think that just about covers things.
I thought most people would know what game which goes to what system :P

I am updating these recent purchases with the prices on them so you all can get a better idea of how insane the deal was. Traded in: Coral Pink DS Lite Bought: Onyx DS Lite, new, $129.99 Tales of the Abyss, PS2, EX+ condition, complete, FREE (normally it would be $27.99) Dead or Alive 4, X360, EX+ condition, complete, $27.99 Marvel Ultimate Alliance, X360, EX+ condition, complete, $41.99 signed up for a year of their membership thing, $19.99 Total: $57.00 out of pocket So, somehow after all of the discounts (including the trade in credit for the pink DS Lite, a buy 2 get 1 free on any games that I am sure was not an ongoing sale, but they did it for me anyway), I got it all for less than $60.usagi704
It looks like you:
1)swapped your DS for absolutely nothing.
2) got the b2g1f deal
3) got a free membership
4) Paid less than list price for the two games you actuallyy "bought" $28 +42 = $70, not $57.
Anyway you look at it you got an outstanding deal. I think they may have some how screwed up ringing you up, but thats ok, Ive been screwed over numerous times by EB (I know, different chain) and not realized it until its too late or had to go way out of my way to correct it - from buying old PS1 game and DC games, not having the correct game in the box, to EB ringing up used games as new (I tried to buy Jet Li's rise to Honor for $6, but it rung up for $20 new, I just told them to take it off since it wasn't supposed to be that good anyways).
Today i got:Nice. Did you get the red or black cartridge for Maximum Carnage? I used to think that the red was the rarer of the two, but it's the other way around.
Maximum Carnage (Gen)
Illusion of Gaia (snes)
Battle arena toshinden URA (Sat)
Spawn (snes)
For a total of $30, Mint, but cart only (cept for BAT of course, it came with everything PERFECT condition).
