I'm sorry that you guys don't think British people have a right to their idenity. Culture is a reflection of the people who live in the country, change the people then you WILL change the culture, and sadly that's exactly what's happening in the UK right now.

MushroomWig

Thats exactly what the English thought about the Welsh and Scottish.. ITs what they thought about the Irish.. Clearly you are not a plural cultural person..

And change is bad because...?

Change in this fashion will destroy a countries identity, I do not want to wake up in 30 years to find that I'm a minority in my own country because it will change everything.

You won't be a minority. There will always be much more british citizens then immigrants. If you're saying you're pissed because there will be more brown british citizens, then godamnit that is racist.

[QUOTE="MushroomWig"][QUOTE="PannicAtack"]You know what? I'm going to assume you're dodging my question because you don't recognize those names. So yeah. Don't talk about "preserving British culture and identity," when you plainly don't know your own country's cultural heritage.

What are you talking about? I clearly missed your posts, no need to be so moody about it, are you even from the UK?

Look up and answer his questions. He posted them at least 5 times or something.

Exactly the problem.

So why choose an arbitrary point in history to base your strange idea of 'British' on? It was different in 2000, 1800, 1500.. never the same, and all the time people from across the world were moving in and breeding with your precious, perfect British bloodline. How can you even fit your own definition of British? There is no indigenous British race.

Do I seriously need to answer why being a minority in my own country is bad? I would of thought that was extremely obvious. Nobody should be happy about becoming a minority in their own country because it will not longer be their country.

Exactly the problem.

While I know that we have an immigration problem here in the UK, and that the BNP are probably the only party who would properly deal with it (maybe UKIP as well) I hope the BNP never get into office. We all want to have our nations to ourselves, but if that means that we have to elect a racist party to govern us, then count me out....

But I do think our criteria for entry to the UK needs tightening (like, you know, making people speak english before trying to work here). Overall though, immigration has helped us as a society.

Mushroom, I know you'll say that the BNP are not the BNP we see in the media, but I've watched Griffin in public speakings and the guy is a blatant racist. You cannot describe his behaviour in any other way.

What about equality? Brotherhood (or fraternité as we say here in France)? Sharing a country? Loving thy neighboor not matter his skin color? I think you're scared they'll treat you as bad as you treat them now. Answer my earlier posts please.

Nick Griffin isn't the greatest leader but I don't think he's a Racist, he's just a patriotic British who doesn't want his country to become anything other than what it used to be.

It's my country because myself and my entire family were born here, my grandfather fought in World War 2 to keep this country free and British, he would be rolling in his grave if he saw how much this country has changed. I don't need to explain why being a minority is bad because it's insanely obviously why it's bad. Identity is extremely important and in a multicultural society a big part of that is lost. St Georges day was cancelled in parts of the country because it's apparently "racist" to other cultures, Christmas decorations were banned in one English town because they were afraid it would offend the Muslims there. This country has become a political correctness joke and I'm sick of it.

You're only saying that because you have todays technology, if you were living in those days you wouldn't think any differently, those days were great because Brtiain was British back then. You're obviously proud to be british right? I mean, you have a British flag in your sig, even you have to admit that the political correctness in this country is a joke.

Yeah, I'll agree that the government bends over backwards to avoid offending anyone who isn't a White-British-Christian, and that does bug me. I'll also agree that we've become a political correctness joke.

But what's the big deal about St Georges day anyway? St George was a Roman.

I'm not just talking about technology, I'm talking about people. I'd hate to live in the conservatism of the 1950s. It was an awful decade for anyone left of centre, not to mention anyone who wasn't white, straight, and male. My grandad was also part of the war. Most of them men who fought in that war would be considered racist. I don't think we should be basing a modern society on the ideals of those who grew up in the 1940s just because they fought in a war that also included black and asian soldiers.

No, we only joined the war because our security was threatened, which is exactly how it should be now. We shouldn't even be in Iraq and afghanistan and the BNP want our troops home now.

Your grandfather fought against the Nazi regime in WW2, a regime that committed the holocaust (which lets not forget Nick Griffon doesn't believe happened) and one that Griffin admires. So it appears that WW2 was fought precisely against the type of people the BNP are.

Nick Griffin was stupid for saying that, apparently he now supports that it happened. Besides, there are a lot of people who deny the holocaust happened...I'm not one of them though.

includng illegal immigrants, I believe white people are now the minority in California. And trust me, its not bad. Not bad at all.

I really dont see the big deal; in the future, ethnicity won't matter, it is going to be all about your class/economic level anyway.

Yes I'm sure he truely changed his mind and it's not because he was receiving bad press, oh wait... Also, just because a lot of people (hah, not really) believe the holocause didn't happen doesn't mean it's any less worse to do so.

How is that a good thing?

What? that ethnicity won't matter? Because it doesn't. If it does, tell me how.

[QUOTE="FrostyPhantasm"] HAH! I laughed for a good straight minute, CANADA? Doesn't know about immigration? AMERICA doesn't know about immigration? Try again.. The fact that you are acknowledging and trying to enforce that "Britains are superior" is in it's purest form, racist. Blacks were "allowed in America" and had fewer rights than whites not to long ago, that was clearly not racist

SteveTabernacle

Exactly. It was done in America already. So tell me, Mushroomwig, when black people in america where technically free and citizens, but had second class citizen status and rights pre civil rights movement, was it racism? I mean, obviously the KKK was just trying to make America American again. (you know, for us "pure" Americans)

Quick quiz: Do you know the names Christopher Marlowe, William Schwenk Gilbert, Arthur Sullivan, Henry Purcell, George Frederic Handel, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Jane Austen, George Bernard Shaw, and Thomas Hardy? And don't you dare run to Wikipedia.

Do you know all those people, and what they did?

PannicAtack

Have you Answered either of those questions yet, or are you going to keep on ignoring them?

That's a sick puppy. I'll bet anyone who had to guess which party he belonged to before hearing the story would have instantly assumed it was the BNP.

I don't see how it's any different from brown calling one of his OWN supporters a bigot, people make mistakes and the BNP have already fired him.

Hmm yeah, calling a woman a bigot and claiming women secretly love being raped are pretty much on par, right?

I call people bigots and racists pretty often. A lot of people are... particularly in the BNP.

It still cost him the election though.

Did you know the answer to all the questions before he asked you them? I doubt it, in fact english dramatist is the first thing written on wikipedia. People seldom use that word anyways, they use the term playwright.

includng illegal immigrants, I believe white people are now the minority in California. And trust me, its not bad. Not bad at all.

I really dont see the big deal; in the future, ethnicity won't matter, it is going to be all about your class/economic level anyway.

mrbojangles25

I don't think white people are the minorities and ethnicity doesn't matter. I'm fine with everyone as long as they do things legally or are at leat productive members of society. :D

Awesome, people use the term "playwright", thanks for that information, now I can sleep easy. I love how you're trying to imply that I used Wiki when I didn't. Try again?

Well, since you seem to be asserting that the BNP is not racist, you can see why your other statements would be regarded with skepticism, right? And the fact that you used the same somewhat frou-frou terminology as the wiki article, well...
