[QUOTE="MushroomWig"] Actually if you watched Question Time Nick Griffin said time and again that they can stay as long as they understand and follow the British way of life.MushroomWig

Describe what you mean by the "British way of life", and why "they" don't currently follow it....

Either relgiously or culturally, people come to this country and then demand that the rules be changed to suit their way of life. That has to stop.

I hope you realise that Britain used to be pagan, and as such most of us "true british" folk do not follow the traditional british religious values or culture....

If they are part of the democracy and doing it upon legal lines.. Then they should be allowed to do so... And if their views are too radical, they will obviously colide with the base line ideals of the government.. Furthermore this is hypocrisy.. There are people living in every country that have been there through generations that have wanted to change the country beyond your narrow perception..

[QUOTE="MushroomWig"] They'd also allow the non-british people to remain in the country that have been here for 10+ years as long as they understand that British rights come before theirs.MushroomWig

THAT IS RACISM.

Of course it's not racism, it's wanting to keep Great Britain British and not a multi-culterial society. the BNP are not racist, they just do not want British people to be the minortiy IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY.

[QUOTE="MushroomWig"][QUOTE="Ninja-Hippo"] Only that is not the policy of the party you are voting for. Their policy is, and quote, 'every last one must go.' KlepticGrooves

But British way of life is a mixture of foreign cultures: Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for A Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV. And the most British thing of all? Suspicion of anything foreign.

This is such a deflection! You're just dodging the point. He quite clearly says in that video with a KKK leader that 'every single one must go.' He's also been a holocaust denier his whole political career, yet when he's called on it on TV he has a sudden change of heart and says he now doesn't think that any more. That again is just lies to win people over and gain votes. You are voting for a party which supports a policy of repatriation. A policy that 'every single one must go.' That is a fact.

I also find it humorous that he claims it like Britain actually has a single culture.. When really since its creation it has been a clashing of Welsh, Irish, and Scottish cultures against English.. British culture to this day can still be argued as being predomiantely english... And nothing like their Gaelic cultures of the Scottish and Irish.

I also note that you give no response to my big post including the party's own admission that they are '100% racist', Nick speaking with the KKK and saying 'every single one must go' and their senior member saying that awful diatribe about black children and then later defending his comment as factual. These are the people you want to vote into power.

... Politicians are not liars by nature.. These are claims by people who have no clue what they are talking about when it comes to politics.. When a canidate makes a promise and its broken, people automatically declare its a lie.. People fail to realize that elected officials actually have to deal with their collegues in passing something, and its a endless changing environment where no one is ever satisfied..

Democracy is not the protection of ALL views my friend. A party advocating that women be shot on sight would not be allowed to register as a party. The BNP are BARELY allowed to register as a party, and that's only because they lie about their policies in their official manifesto documents. If they actually came out and officially said what they believe in regard to jews, black people, homosexuals and the policy of repatriation they'd be barred from the elections. And rightfully so.

Once again you just deflect the issue with a general statement. 'Oh all politicians are liars' is absolutely not a legitimate answer to the very real issue that the BNP party think that 'every last one must go' but wont say so on TV. So when they come to power and my family is deported, you'll still support them? Also, tell me which of their policies you support which is SO GOOD that it's worth voting self-confessed racists and holocaust deniers into office.

Considering the BNP's definition of "rape" (re: "happy fun time for all") I wouldn't take anything they say seriously. :P

That was one mans statement and he's been sacked for it, don't you dare generalize an entire group becuase of one persons statements.

I am with you on this one Mushroom, the BNP have polices which deal with problems which many British Citizens see and deal with everyday, Although I would not personally vote ( I am Scottish and would rather vote SNP ) for them I can see what appeals about them and do believe that they should hold seats in parliament. If there are people in the British public that agree with their views then those people deserve fair representation. Isn't that the idea of Democracy? That everyone is represented in politics? EVERYONE is entitled to an opinion, at no point did I say the BNP should gain enough power to carry out their plans, but they should still have representation if people support them.

Democracy does not apply to the furthering of an evil agenda. You misunderstand what democracy is. It is the representation of views, not the legitimizing of ANY views. There is no place in a democracy for a party advocating repatriation.

Quote from Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP:

'We affirm that non-whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land.' Justify that for me. Please.

Yet you, and unfortunately others, will vote for him based on what he says on TV. >_>

When a party seeks to take away the democratic rights of other citizens, I do not see them as having the right to run. To say otherwise would be paradoxical.

i thought the BNP was mostly against immigration?

They want all non-whites to leave, and if they don't they see them as being essentially second class citizens. They endorse and are endorsed by the KKK and neo-nazi groups as well.

They are against immigration and for deporting anyone who isn't white back to their native country, even if their family has lived in Britain for generations.

Democracy does not apply to the furthering of an evil agenda. You misunderstand what democracy is. It is the representation of views, not the legitimizing of ANY views. There is no place in a democracy for a party advocating repatriation.

I don't think you really understand what democracy is... You call it "an evil agenda" yet you should be saying an agenda whcih you see as being evil. And don't get me wrong, I believe your view should also recieve representation in politics. But the constant slandering of the BNP is no fair as this is a political part which reflects the views of a large number of the British People. Democracy is the idea that the people govern themselves by electing people they believe can represent them and fairly reflect their views. The BNP do this for many people.

Quote from Nick Griffin, leader of the BNP:

'We affirm that non-whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land.' Justify that for me. Please.

Yet you, and unfortunately others, will vote for him based on what he says on TV. >_>

Ninja-Hippo

When did he make that quote?

[QUOTE="T_P_O"][QUOTE="Same_Jeans_On"]It is clear that this thread is full of people who are undemocratic and do not believe that everyone's views should be given fair representation in Government.Same_Jeans_On
Not agreeing with your view =/= being undemocratic

Calling the BNP a racist party, that should not be allowed to exist is UNDEMOCRATIC.

No it isn't. You dont know what democracy means. One, they call themselves racist. quote: 'we are 100% racist, yes' - that was from their deputy leader. Two, all KINDS of parties are denied official recognition on the voting ballot all the time. If you advocate murder, you're not allowed to be a political party. If you advocate making women stay at home and be housewives you cant be a political party. If the BNP actually wrote down their real policies in their manifesto, they wouldn't be allowed to be a political party either. You seem to think that democracy means that ANY and ALL views are legitimate. That is not the case.

Well they've said time and again that people can stay if they're willing to accept that the British people will come first "British jobs for British people".

Calling the BNP a racist party is in no way undemocratic in itself. It even may have some element of truth to it, throwing around words like "undemocratic" just intends to create a facade to avoid any proper analysis or scrutiny of what many people may say as racist policies. As for not saying it should exist, I dunno, it very well could be undemocratic, but then again, the people (demos) have the power (kratos) to outlaw that which they find unacceptable. Plus, plenty of democratic governments are "illiberal" in their operating and can ban parties, assemblies, meetings, etc, I think you're confusing liberal democracy with this sort of democracy.

Yeah, making anyone not white second class citizens, even if they've been there for ages, is perfectly ok
