This thread has gone too far, you guys can never change my mind about voting for them. Culture is essential for all countries and the BNP are the only ones who can promise to keep our culture British.
And I'm appalled :( Same, what a waste of time. The argument didn't go anywhere. the BNP are the only ones who can promise to keep our culture British.MushroomWigYou say that as if they're some sort of Obi-Wan Kenobis of the British partisan scene. There are other parties who campaign on the issue of immigration, the BNP aren't anything new or unique in this respect.

I don't see how it's any different from brown calling one of his OWN supporters a bigot, people make mistakes and the BNP have already fired him.MushroomWigwell for one Brown wasn't condoning rape, he was calling an arguably bigoted woman.. a bigot. It still cost him the election though.
Oh it didn't. It really didn't.
The majority of people already had an opinion one way or the other in regards to Brown. This incident was just one of many nails in his political coffin.

Quick quiz: Do you know the names Christopher Marlowe, William Schwenk Gilbert, Arthur Sullivan, Henry Purcell, George Frederic Handel, Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Jane Austen, George Bernard Shaw, and Thomas Hardy? And don't you dare run to Wikipedia.
Do you know all those people, and what they did?
MushroomWig
Have you Answered either of those questions yet, or are you going to keep on ignoring them?
Those people were all writers. Nope. Purcell, Handel, Vaughan-Williams, and Sullivan were composers. And "writers" is a very broad term that doesn't even begin to cover it. Shaw wrote plays, essays, and criticism. Gilbert wrote plays, operettas, and poems. Hardy wrote poems and novels.
Coming into this thread I was like :question: Then i was like :? then it lead to :evil: and eventually to :roll: then we hit this awesome nugget of an argument;

According to the BNP? White.MushroomWigConsidering the BNP's definition of "rape" (re: "happy fun time for all") I wouldn't take anything they say seriously. :P That was one mans statement and he's been sacked for it, don't you dare generalize an entire group becuase of one persons statements. and then i was like

Rereading that made me laugh.
Someone with racist beliefs, who wants all non-whites to realize they are secondary citizens, claiming that a thread has "gone too far"? :D
They'd also allow the non-british people to remain in the country that have been here for 10+ years as long as they understand that British rights come before theirs. THAT IS RACISM.

Edit: Though it is exciting that a whopping three months ago they decided to allow non-whites to join the party as long as they agree that whites should remain the majority in the UK...SteveTabernacle
British and non-British are not races.

British actually is a race. 'Non-british' obviously isn't a race but refers to lots of other races.British and non-British are not races.

It is when the concern is directed at brown and black people immigrating.. I'd like to see the uproar for White French citizens immigrating to Great Britain.
My biggest question to Mushroom, which i pose to all BNP supporters is as follows: The BNP propose a policy of repatriation ie that if you aren't what they consider of 'pure blood' you should be sent back to where you came from. I, being of italian descent, would fit into this category. Thus, are you happy for me to be deported?Ninja-Hippo
Your food is too delicious for such a thought.
there isn't anything you can do to change my mind.MushroomWigRespectfully, i think that's a close-minded standpoint. You say you will support this party and there's nothing anyone can do to change your mind, yet there really is some fairly harrowing stuff against the BNP which you may ignore because you have made your mind up and refuse to change it.

Wait, are you trying to tell me the BNP are not perfect? Well this is news to me! I couldn't care less if the BNP were perfect or not, they have policies which a lot of people agree with, including myself. Have you actually seen their policies? Or do you only know the BNP because of the mainstream media?

Nick Griffin isn't the greatest leader but I don't think he's a Racist, he's just a patriotic British who doesn't want his country to become anything other than what it used to be. And what was so great about the 1950s? I'd hate to live in the 1950s. You're only saying that because you have todays technology, if you were living in those days you wouldn't think any differently, those days were great because Brtiain was British back then. You're obviously proud to be british right? I mean, you have a British flag in your sig, even you have to admit that the political correctness in this country is a joke.[/QUOTE
but I've watched Griffin in public speakings and the guy is a blatant racist. You cannot describe his behaviour in any other way.

so the past was soo great because it was british what at WW2 millions of people dead not exactly good old fashioned prefect britian then is it I like been british but I like the influence of other cultures so what was so good about it? we were british is that all you base it on it was british? where if you are unmarried and had a child you were demonised?

You refuse to answer this question because it cannot be answered. It's the same with every BNP member i pose it to.

I thought it was obvious that I was joking? Ah well. Actually if you watched Question Time Nick Griffin said time and again that they can stay as long as they understand and follow the British way of life.
Describe what you mean by the "British way of life", and why "they" don't currently follow it....

Either relgiously or culturally, people come to this country and then demand that the rules be changed to suit their way of life. Oh god the irony. Especially when you consider that the BNP thrives on gross generalizations like maggots on a corpse.
