We must take that into account, especially when the scriptures say otherwise. Actually, according to Holy Writ it is irrelevant whether one is born gay or not. Scripture calls us to deny the flesh. Even if one is born gay the Bible calls that desire sin. Therefore it is not to be acted upon. The same applies to the guy that is genetically predisposed to cheat on his wife. Being born that way does not make it right.
