Many people in other countries are not very appreciative of the United States. Their governments and/or media makes America out to be imperialist, greedy, or just plain stupid. It all comes from jealousy and major difference in agenda.

I'm not talking about dislike of any President or administration in the USA over the last few decades, democrat or republican. I'm talking about the UNFAIR animosity toward America as a whole.

Also, professors in some universaties in the USA talk bad about America. They AREN'T free thinkers, and put their socialist or radical liberal agenda before pure, unbiased education.

Regardless of whether or not it's true, it's totally unsurprising. How do you expect people to react to a country as politically active as the United States? I'd be well damn challanged to find a politically powerful country in history that wasn't despised.

The radical left isn't tolerant of Pro-American opinions, and therefore they are NOT free thinkers. Let people decide for themselves without the incredibly biased views being tossed in their faces.

That doesn't make any sense at all in the context of your previous points. Yes the America bashing bandwagon is stupid. Does that necessarily mean everyone on it is there to look cool? Hell no. A number of them have genuinly relevant points and criticisms that are more productive to listen to than to ignore.

*Sighs.* I'm really sick of hearing a lot of the stereotypes of countries. There are cons and pros of every country. There are good and bad people in every country. Not everyone in America is greedy, mean, imperialist, stupid, fat, etc. The stereotypical things come from people who are stupid, mean, imperialist, greedy, fat, or etc., giving the reputation of a country a bad one. There will always be an arrogant person, whetherbeing in America, Canada, England, China, etc. There will always be that type of person and just because there are those like them, doesn't mean the whole country is.

In all honesty, it's quite sad.

Oh come on, because the right isn't as big they are automatically exempt from criticism? That's idiotic.

And I can't stand this "lol media" crap arguments. The media doesn't slant towards any political party, it just reports what it feels like for the sake of ratings.

Colleges? Name these colleges. The only things i've seen have a been a few random Professors come out and whore attention.

You're kidding yourself if you think anyone with half a brain respects any of those pompous Hollywood celebrities and their opinions.

I love America!

Look at the nations who support us (populace): Poland, Albania, Bosnia. These countries love us because of what we do for the world. They are the small countries that have been aided by America and know what it is like to live under opression (communism).

The nations that despise us? Canada, France, Germany, England, Russia, Italy. These nations have all held a great deal of power (well not Canada, haha) and what did they do with it? Spread communism, oppress the French, oppress the English, oppress the Irish and Scottish, oppress Africa. Sure we did hurt Germany after WWI and had slavery but never destroyed an economy out of spite to the degree these nations (except Canada, haha) punished other nations and races.

Well except Germany, we screwed em pretty bad after WWI (though it was the league of nations too) and they got back at us with Hitler.

Nitpick, the US was ardently opposed to the Versailles Treaty. It was not the reason Germany suffered after WW1.

No, to me a good citizen is critical of his country.

I love England for their poor healthcare!

US healthcare isn't exactly in a good position either.

And I love France because they hate everyone!

Everyone knows France's ego is huge. The problem is that the US suffers from the sameproblem.

I love Germany because... well I can think of no reason, they're heads are too small so I cannot wear their hats!

Personally I prefer braughtwurst.

And as far as medical procedures go, America is light years ahead of England. People cry about our healthcare system because it isn't free. Guess what? Get a job you live in a capitalist society.

Our healthcare system is not perfect, yes I agree. But to think socialized healthcare is better? No, that is why you do not let the government run things such as healthcare.

Colleges? You say to look at a subset of a particular age group and consider that representative of the entire population? Please...

The media? What media is radical left except for maybe certain music bands and some blogs that nobody really pays attention to? I would love to know what "radical left" is in your view.

Radical left? Here is radical left.

Why shouldn't I think we're the best? Because you are unhappy your nation is not a super power? Oh and I am politically incorrect because America lets me be. So I'll insult any country I want.

You are "loling" at poor english healthcare? I don't think having your chances of dying from cancer doubled in the English healthcare system "lol" worthy. Diagnosed with prostate cancer? 52% chane you'll die from it in England, 19% in the US.

Just becasue you have the right to be an ass doesn't mean you have too.

And you can think americas the best but you don't have to be so rude about it, it just makes you look insecure about it like you're trying to proove it to yourself. I find it quite amusing that you think i'm unhappy because my country isn't a superpower its not that its the fact that you think your better at everything when thats just not true. also remember that america probably won't remain as powerfull as it is right now forever.

I was loling because frankly americas healthcare system is poor and so trying to point out the faults in another is rather "pot calling the kettle black". also where did you get that figure from I'd like a source as I find the difference slightly fishy. I imagined there to be some but not as great.

also I'm not in the mood to discuss the pros and cons of state run healthcare.

The radical right isn't near as big as the radical left, and you know it. So, the radical left is a much bigger problem. Look at the media, at colleges, at certain people in hollywood... Etc...

SpaceMoose

Hence how Bush is in office a second term.

Colleges? You say to look at a subset of a particular age group and consider that representative of the entire population? Please...

The media? What media is radical left except for maybe certain music bands and some blogs that nobody really pays attention to? I would love to know what "radical left" is in your view.

Radical left? Here is radical left.

Keep your posts coming mate, your low degree of seriousity is only working against you and your agenda in a highly discrediting manner. And I find it quite amusing too.

Left-wing parties are socialist, and the Earth Liberation Front is not a socialist organization, but rather a romantic extremist hippie-nazi organization.

Logic? He brought inaccuracies.

And if you are saying that the "radical left" consists of music bands, you haven't a clue really.

Ha, don't think that I am gonna start loving America. The arguments I hear are pathetic and unconvincing.

The USA is imperialist. Its as if you guys always have to intervene in everything. We all know that the invasion of Iraq was for the oil. As if you cared about the people who we're "oppressed". And why do you keep forcing the UN security council to not intervene in Darfur? (Russia and China are as guilty on that one) Oh right.. its completely unacceptable that Russia or China should get their hands on oil down there. Always trying to get richer, trampling those in your way because they are unimportant. And now lets talk about the anti-missile shield.. hello! the Cold War is over, you don't need to piss off Russia by extending it all the way into western Europe.

Anyway, thats all I have to say for now. You guys won't be on top for ever... one day capitalism shall fall.

Uh, criticism of America is totally fair. It happens a lot and it should happen a lot. What exactly constitutes being 'unbiased' in your opinion? Supporting America and endorsing every conceivable aspect of it?

I'm sorry. I confused you with the other guy somehow. Too much going on in my head right now.
