first of all, mcdonald sucks. second of all, flavored milk evryday at school...all that unnecessary sugar is going to kill u. mr moderator on teh interweb!!!
They should. Apparently chocolate milk has more fat than a Big Mac burger. I understand the sugar thing because sugar is what makes the chocolate taste good but why does it have to have so much fat? That just seems like ridiculous.GladlyHandlyPimp-slap the person that told you that. Big Macs have 4x the amount of fat in chocolate milk.
thats right, nobody likes americaIs this really an issue? America is a strange place...
thattotally
They need to start, you know, feeding the kids healthy foods first rather than take away semi-unhealthy foods. I think my elementary school would have gone a long way if they replaced my Pop-tart with an apple.cd_romi think they need to have some physical activities..... you know to burn calories and promote good health...

The milk that the serve in cafeterias is cut in with other things like soy oil which makes them far fattier than Big Mac burgers. Also, it's always about the serving size. THose milk containers are like 2 servings of milk.

Well to be fair as far as I can see the children can still have chocolate milk they bring from home, the school just wont be serving it themselves. The kids are still allowed to eat all the crap they wont but the school just isn't endorsing it

We never had chocolate milk at school. Only regular milk... and I'm not even sure schools have that anymore (in the UK).SolidSnake35
Bless you and all of your UK brothers. Join us in America for the FREEDOM to drink out chocolate milk as we read our picture books in elementary school.

No. Chocolate milk can have the same fat content as regular milk depending on what is purchased. And it's not that much that children are served.
Shh dont tell him, we enjoy his ignorance
i'm jsut dumb founded....milk serving sizes in school is a pint.......chocolate milk in school does not have as much fat as a Big Mac......and chocolate milk has been in schools since the 40s...it's obviously not the cause of obesity...I continue to be amazed by how easily people give up their own ability to choose what is right for themselves.....utterly amazing....and for the record...chocolate milk only has as much fat content as the type of milk that;s in it...you can have lowfat chocolate milk...but hey...that may be too much for people to think about.....Omni-SlashIf you think that kids choose low-fat milk over the chocolate milk then you don't really understand the article that YOU posted at all.

If you think that kids choose low-fat milk over the chocolate milk then you don't really understand the article that YOU posted at all.GladlyHandlyexcept that I have 2 kids in school and the only option of chocolate milk is lowfat chocolate milk...schools don't purchase multiple kinds of chocolate milk for the school....usually schools carry 3 kinds of milk..(whole milk for those under the age of 7)....skim milk for those over the age of 7...and lowfat chocolate milk.....

Wow, you really are just trying to troll. The milk that is in schools is the kind that they say is fattier than a Big Mac burger. It doesn't matter if you think it's low-fat or not. The regular stuff has even more than that. Try doing some research before trolling educated people. There is not any chocolate milk that has more fat than a Big Mac dude.
