You know, the problem presented in this video is an indication that there are simply too many Humans. With so many people to feed (billions), Humanity is forced to resort to the mass and systematic killing of animals. As screwed up as the video is, as omnivorous creatures who like meat, this is inevitable. If there were fewer Humans who did things the old fashioned way (Hunting and gathering), I'm pretty sure the problem wouldn't be this severe and wouldn't be any worse than a predator taking out its prey the natural way. The only solution is to decrease the Human population. These mass and systematic killings are only one of the many problems caused by the needs of the billions of Humans that roam this Earth. I personally think that the best way of killing the animals is to quickly behead them with a single stroke; the rapid decrease in cranial blood pressure will assure that the loss of consciousness occurs quickly.

I stopped watching after the pigs. I love meat and will continue to eat it but the way they handle those animals is pretty inhumane. I don't know how someone could casually slit a suffering animal's throat or slowly hang it.

As terrible as this is, I have little trust for shockumentaries

I already said, those are the exceptions, most animals are killed painlessly. Those videos you watch of animals being tortured are very rare, and often times if a person is shown on video abusing animals they'll be fired.

Wise words. The sad thing is that people having lots of children are generally those who are less educated and unable to properly provide for them. I would go one further and base the amount of children a couple could have on things like education, IQ, ability to provide for their family, and health. Every couple who wants a child should be allowed at least one, but after that, it should depend on certain qualifications.
