I'm not going to watch that. Ever since I saw the video of racoons being skinned alive and then one of them raising its head to look at its skinless body, I swore never to watch these things again.

Makes you wonder, seeing the living conditions these animals are in and the diseases, is your own health worth risking just for a tasty burger?
I'm seriously considering turning vegetarian, my dad has been eating meat his whole life and has a crap load of health problems,
....Wow. I said I wasn't gonna look at it, and like a dummy, I went to look at all of it. Damn my curiosity. Wouldn't that entire video be considered animal cruelty?...:x Still not gonna change my diet because of it. Even if I decided to change it, I doubt it would slow down productions....tocool340There are aprox 8 million vegetarians in the US alone, imagine the average American in his lifetime consumes 200 chickens, 20 cows, 30 pigs, 1000 fish etc , you can always make a difference even if you're not aware.
you sir have never owned pets. All that money that goes to protecting animal rights and going against establishments could be going to human beings instead. I think we need to broaden our views of what makes logical sense.
As revolting as it is to watch near-torturous levels of indecency towards animals, they will never be as bad to me as watching just 1 human being suffer.
Yes I did watch the video, but my sympathies are simply elsewhere.

In my family and personally I have owned and taken care of: 6 dogs, 6 cats, an iquana, a gerbil, a hamster, a fiddler crab and assorted fish, etc. I remember having a cat that I absolutely loved and he was the man. Then he died. It sucked but I got over it. I don't think the impact would have been the same had I lost a sibling over that cat.
That was just sick my god how can people do that to animals and not feel bad how would they like it if it happened to them.
And If you are going to eat meat eat organic meat the animals are raised in a better environment and the meat tastes better too. since there are no chemicals or other weird things going into the meat.
Its horrible to see animals being treated bad like that but don't support it and they might not do it any more.
:|..... Isn't all meat organic?Dam, that s*** is f***** up.
Human beings are a pretty selfish race, but c'mon, u get paid to slam piglets skulls into the floor?
U get paid to shove baby chicks into a grinder?
Ur paid to slit calf babies' throats open?
Smh...

:|..... Isn't all meat organic? No... The word organic has a different meaning in the context that he is using it in...There are aprox 8 million vegetarians in the US alone, imagine the average American in his lifetime consumes 200 chickens, 20 cows, 30 pigs, 1000 fish etc , you can always make a difference even if you're not aware.[QUOTE="tocool340"]....Wow. I guess i mean't to say free range and or organic.
I'm not going to become a vegetarian over something like this. I like meat. I'm an omnivore because I need both meat and plants to live. If I'm starving, I will personally find a cow or something, kill it, cook it up and eat it if I have to.
That's nature. That said, torturing animals isn't cool. Sure, lots of predators torture their prey before they finally eat it. Some eat their prey alive or something like that and take great pleasure in it. I'd rather just kill the damn thing and get it over with. I don't want to hear my steak scream before I eat it.
That actually cheered me up after seeing the video.Hasn't it been proven that fruits and vegetables can feel pain as well? Then, that would mean that it is just as bad for plants than it is for animals.
Lets take an orange for example and kill it the most humane possible way.
You start tugging and pulling an orange until it is ripped off from the tree separating it form his (yes it's a boy, I've checked) mother; the one being who raised him from when he was only a merechild. Then, you immediately start ripping his very own skin off, piece by piece. Now, you are biting into his very own flesh. With every bite you take there is an explosion of his guts soaring everywhere, and now his fluids are dripping all over your face, as your significant-other begins to lick the juices off from you. This has all just happened as the the mother tree was right there to experiencethe massacre of Jr., her first born child.
