P.S. To the person that asked Obama has over a 7 million vote lead in the popular vote and also cnn.com or yahoo.com or msn.com etc etc for election results.

...and I think that Obama could potentially do serious damage, particularly in the Iraqi area and possibly in the economy (there was one report in which the gathered economists said Obama's plan would "destroy" the American economy) and the list goes on and on.

astro64th

Don't worry. That's normal. It happens every time a Democrat is brought in after a Republican. When Clinton was elected, certain economists predicted that we'd fall into a deep recession and that the stock market would collapse because taxes were definitely going to be raised. It didn't happen. And it's not going to happen this time, either.

You'll always find bitter supply side proponents out there predicting an economic apocalypse is occurring every time taxes are raised.

Turnabout is fair play. We had to deal with a deluge of conservative gloating in the past two elections. Watching them squirm now that their guy got soundly defeated is most entertaining.

I just wanted to add one thing to this discussion. This was a LANDSLIDE. Not even close. I think its kids or something that don't understand that 52-53% of the popular vote is HUGE. Once they finish North Carolina & Indiana Obama could have over 350 electorial votes. That is a crushing huge victory. And it is the American people who won, because we stood up and took charge of our country again.

P.S. To the person that asked Obama has over a 7 million vote lead in the popular vote and also cnn.com or yahoo.com or msn.com etc etc for election results.

SpideR_CentS

Obama will be a horrible president, it'll become apparent when he faces Medvedev of Russia anyhow.

I hope she never sets foot near the presidency again. She played up to the worst elemnts of the republican supporters. The same people who booed during Mccains speech and who are trying to convince us i the thread that "obama will be a terrible president" despite voting for bush twice

Not according to the popular vote on MSNBC now (62,771,907) vs 62,040,610 for Bush. And all of Obama's votes haven't even been counted yet.

[QUOTE="MadExponent"]Our country just got royally owned tonight. Lots of very dumb people just bent us over and made us grab our ankles. Thanks libs.MadExponent

Glad to be of service. :P

You guys are gonna be more angry at Obama in four years than you were at Bush. Obama economics is literally going to cause our economy to collapse followed by a massive global collapse. Lets just hope that Obama doesn't make his tax plan retroactive. Wouldn't that be fun. Change is coming. Trust me it is coming haha.

Please stop talking. The majority of people agree in Obama being the best person to lead the U.S. let alone the fact that the majority of the world dislikes the U.S. BECAUSE of the republican party and what's it's done for the past 8yrs. I know you and other Repubs think you know better than the WORLD but ummm yeah.... Obama will bring the ecomony back, help the states safe face around the world but also gain respect in the foreign department.

And not shocked about Prop 8 looking to go through. Sad...

Wow....you really have drank all the koolaid. What will you say when none of what you claim happens? Which it won't.

And everything you say will?

Please just stop.

3% left now, with a 2,397,235 difference. Looks like we'll get about a million and a half more votes this election? I guess that is pretty significant. :P

you're free of their tyranny now. I've never understood the need to pander to such a base and hateful element of society

look at some of the behaviour in this thread. Bitter tears, allegations of bias, made up statistics. It's really sad.

It will be a difficult time for Obama now, he will struggle to get things done, because he is gonna have to waste too much time undoing 8 years of republican damage.
