I think Romney's loss can be attributed to a few things.

First the Republican Party is a shell of its former self hijacked by a radical fringe. Do to changing demographics and societal views the party will have to readjust its stances in order to run successful presidential campaigns in the future.

Also Plouffe and Axelrod organized and executed a better campaign than Stuart Stevens and the Romney campaign.

The Right-wing media has acted far more unfairly and dishonestly to Obama than the inverse, and the G.O.P. has used far dirtier election-stealing tactics and methods like buying the fvcking voting machines used, closing down voting stations and limiting voting hours in Democrat districts and purging Democrat voters from lists without any legitimate reason. Your voter I.D. laws were rejected by every single federal court and a good deal of state courts because even the lawyers who argued for them didn't even try to contest the point that they caused more voter disenfrachisement than eliminated fraud votes, by a factor of thousands.

Face it, Obama won the election legitimately and fairly, even in the face of your sleazy scummy Republican party's efforts at suppressing the votes of people who didn't agree with them in a pathetic attempt at seizing control of a country they knew that they had no chance of leading. I think Obama won by 2% in the popular vote, but there's still votes to be counted, so that might go up to 3%. He's probably going to win Florida, which would put him at 332. Furthermore, if he wins Florida, he'll have won every swing state with the exception of North Carolina, which was alot closer than people thought it would be.

So, in a nutshell, popular vote was close, electoral vote was not.

By what measure has the stimulus bill been a failure? The purpose of stimulus bills is to halt and reverse employment and gross domestic product decline, which is exactly what happened when it was implemented. Also, you think that debt is bad, then you criticize him for implementing a deficit-reducing program? :?
