Oh, if Turco is claimed by any team, for example TB, who lost Garon last night, he would be ineligable to play since he would be claimed after the TD. But if he signs a regular contract and passes through with the Bruins, he's eligible. So no real point to claim him other than to make Boston's situation worse I guess? Unfair to Turco though then.

I was at the Leafs/Flyers game, it was amazing. Obviously I didn't get the result I wanted, but I'll take a point from the Flyguys anyday.

On Sportsnet tonight: "Let's talk to some players to see what they have to say about this brewing controversy", or something, re: Kessel trade. "Brewing controversy"? Sportsnet is the one making it a "story", or actually, one of their idiot panelists who writes for the newspaper. They're hyping up their own story. And he completely contradicted himself saying that they need to change something after what's happened, with a new coach and losing...but then said "the losing streak hasn't changed anything on how this team should go with a rebuild".

Why the hell would you trade a 24 year old sniper who gets 30 goals with ease. Sure he isn't a great leader or physical. But he's a kinda player we need/want. Young, dynamic hockey player. You would trade him who what, similar players with similar skill sets? Or a downgrade of sorts? Or piece or pieces that won't be ready for 1-2 years?

Wow. You would think they could at least make it a close game.

No, it WAS JohnBean42...that's my username for everything. For some reason though, I changed it to 32 (Halladay and my baseball number) cause that's what I originally wanted here at GS and for my GMail. Now I try and change it, but I think it's taken. Oh well.

Ya, for people in the States is hard to find. But here in Canada, its on quite a bit over winter, with the Scotties (woman's Canadian championship) and the Brier (the men's) being the two biggest events. The Brier actually just wrapped up.

If you go through my tweets, they're either about The Hunger Games, the ball game I'm going to in April, sports, or retweets of sports..or funny things. I'm not a very interesting guy:P

I would add you on twitter bro, but i rarely use it so it'd be a waste :P 5 teams...or is it 6 with the Stars? Within 1 point or two of 3 playoff spots, this is insane! I must say i don't like how many playoff teams there are but it seems every year it goes down to the wire with a bunch of teams so close to one another. X360PS3AMD05

His goal last night was sweet, tee it up and slap.

At least we have the Marlies, and hopefully Blue Jays to cheer for. We've locked up Brad Ross for three years and Sondre Olden is on a tryout with the Marlies, possibly going to help them with their playoff run.
