Finally ready to get back into sports after the dissapointing Super Bowl game. Let's go Bruins! Big game tonight.
[QUOTE="gameeer1"]Too late 2-0 for Florida right now. Ouch *Sigh* Wilson has gotta go. This is terrible.Hopefully the Leafs don't disappoint tonight and tomorrow. :c
It's as if February is the new November.

"Fire Wilson" chants are quite loud at the ACC. Well deserved.
Bronx cheer for Reimer, lots of mock cheering.
This is terrible.
[QUOTE="Los9090"]So the Sabres were able to pry a 1st rounder from Nashville for Gaustad and a 4th rounder. And how about Buffalo getting Cody Hodgson for Zack Kassian?!Mkavanaugh77Cody Hodgson is a great player, I enjoyed watching him play for the Canucks. Im sure he will help Buffalo out alot. I was floored with that trade, than I remembered the wealth of talent in your top 6. Gives Cody a chance and he's closer to home so that's cool. Kassian's a banger, a lot of Sabres fans aren't very happy but I'll take skill over grit.

I give Gus the start tonight. If he sucks, go to Scrivens or Rynnas. Can't be that much worse. Try and catch lightning in a bottle again, like Reimer last year.I just couldn't help but laugh tonight. That's how terrible it was.
Since it seems nobody is going to do anything, let's bring up Mark "In Da Park" Owuya. But, that just might shatter his confidence, we need him and Scrivens to push for the Calder Cup.

Hear that? That's the clock ticking down on Wilson's job. It's gotta happen, I mean...just look at this team. It's f***ing garbage. At least it wasn't over in 2:15 tonight.
I know what I'm doing March 10th against Philadelphia. Tha being said, at least they had SOME effort tonight? :P Regardless, they should change their names to the Toronto Slump Busters lol.Hear that? Also I think they started Fail for Nail a bit too late :P

Some effort, but still, they blew the game. Turnovers, defensive lapses, same old story.Yup, but hey, they can still get Top 5. How great would Ryan Murray look for us, the kind of player we need? Or Alex Galchenyuk or Matt Dumba. Right now, in 10th in the draft, a few mock drafts have them taking Radek Faksa from the Kitchener Rangers, who is a very, very impressive looking player, having watched him live many times.
Hahahaha, oh Habs:lol: Blowing a two goal lead with 2:11 left. That cheers me up after watching the Leafs suck lately.
My boy Krecji with a hat trick to win the game in OT. Now the team just needs to start playing a full 60 minutes. Maybe we can get a winning streak going. Here's to being optimistic. Swanogt19Seriously. They talked so much about being consistent at the beginning of the middle season but now they are about as inconsistent as Republican Presidential Nominees.

[QUOTE="JohnBean42"]Glitchspot! Anyways you seem positive about this hiring. Do you think the impact will happen immediately or perhaps a big upswing next season? I'd be surprised if there was an immediate impact. Hopefully there is one against the Bruins on the 6th at least. :PUgh I just wrote a huge thing about Carlyle, Wilson and Burke and I got an error:evil:

Julien needs to put the team together though and make them play better. The only reason we lead the division is because it is sh!t this year.[QUOTE="Swanogt19"]My boy Krecji with a hat trick to win the game in OT. Wilson had to go, even if this isn't his fault. Fans hated him cause he never won here, but he was really never given the team to do it, regardless of what Burke thought or how we performed early on.Ugh I just wrote a huge thing about Carlyle, Wilson and Burke and I got an error:evil:

Carlyle won the Cup because he had some of the most skilled players in the game with Nidermeyer, Selanne, Perry, Getzlaf, Giguere, Beauchemin, Kunitz, Penner and more. He made the playoffs last year because he had the MVP and a stable goalie plus a lot of other great players like Getzlaf and Selanne. Here he had no stable goalie, no real vets, no MVP, just a team that's in disarray.
I don't think Eakins should have been hired right now. Why mess up the AHL? But, I think this was done a week or two late. It should have been done before the TD. Or, not done at all, seeing how this season is pretty much lost. Let Wilson play it out, fire him, bring in Eakins.
We surly have lost him now, he's been groomed to be an NHL coach. I only think he should have been hired because a lot of the players in our future have learned or are learning from him. Hire him, and let the team grow together.
It's all on Burke (and the players) now though. This team obviously isn't very good, but he has HIS coach now, so no excuses. If they don't make it under the 3 years of Carlyle, even in 2 years, Burke should be gone. Alleire should be gone ASAP as well. I'd be shocked if there's a huge turnaround though. All starts tonight.
It'll still take a while. They need defense big-time (Ryan Murray this draft), and solid goaltending, which Dubnyk may provide. They will be scary though. So what do u guys think? Will the oilers be playoff material????

[QUOTE="Swanogt19"][QUOTE="sherman-tank1"]We've caught the injury bug Won't matter, you'll guys somehow go 5-0 on the season against us on the 6th. :P At least we beat those pesky Habs tonight. (: At the rate we're playing we may be lucky enough to get into the playoffs. Not only did we lose Rask but Paille got hurt as well. Ference was this past game, not sure how long he will be out for.Damn it, we can not afford Rask getting a serious injury.

Yeah... the Bruins actually played a good game today... and the Rangers were a little flat at times. But the Rangers continue to figure out ways to win even when they seem tired or don't have that jump in their legs. Impressive NYR win with Ryan Callahan out for the 3rd straight game.Man this is brutal. Bruins can't win for sh!t.

Yeah... most teams have their ups and downs in a season. The key is getting hot and clicking when the playoffs start like the Bruins did last year. They pretty much came out of nowhere. I think the 3 legit teams that could come out of the East and make the finals this year are... Rangers, Bruins and Penguins. And teams like the Islanders on the outside looking in... but still in striking distance for a playoff spot are treating every game like a must win. Rangers lost to the NYI a few weeks ago... and they just beat NJ 1-0. They're hot right now.
Meh signing. Maybe he will be our backup next season if we trade Thomas, which I really think we should do when there is some value left in him.Briuns signed Turco, 1-year, $600,000.
(prays he starts tomorrow vs. Toronto)

Yeah I'm hoping for a repeat of last year. We begin our hot streak right at the end of the regular season and it last just long enough to get us through the playoffs.Yeah... most teams have their ups and downs in a season. This will just be for this season. We have to wait until tomorrow for him to pass waivers. New career high in goals for Chris Kelly. Caron is stepping up, was expecting this from him earlier this season. His first 3 point game of his career. Disappointed with the refs this game. Marchand call was question at best imo. Just a back up for the rest of the regular season or if Thomas needs a rest. He has to clear waivers first and he will only be for this year. New career high of 16 goals for Christ Kelly. Caron is stepping, first 3 point game. I was expecting more of this from him earlier in the season but good to see that he is stepping up. Not impressed with the refs this game. Marchand call was questionable at best. The Mcquid roughing should've been off set because Armstrong came a far distance across the ice to hit Sidernberg. They got the tripping call right, obviously.[QUOTE="JohnBean42"]
