lol, it was 6-3 when I step outside for a few hours come back 5 mins as of this writing its 9-7 Cards. lol, once again MLB( and NFL) prove The best team during the regular season do not win/or compete for the championship. And people say the NBA regular season doesnt matter.PSP107
Yeah the MLB playoffs are always a complete crapshoot.
Guess you gotta change the title :P
Man, what a collapse. What's up with these Cards and their last strike heroics?
And the whole history with this team is cursed. All the way back to Rick Monday against the Expos in 1981.
As for the poll...sticking with Detroit, and I just can't go against STL anymore. Tigers-Cards World Series.
JohnBean42
And a cursed team moves to a cursed city.
Well I guess I'll go and predict the Tigers to win it all although the I'm keeping an eye on the Giants.

4 major sports, more unpredictable playoffs:
- NHL
- MLB
- NFL
- NBA
Seabas989
Switch NFL with MLB and that's my list.
Yeah, NFL and MLB are pretty much a toss up.[QUOTE="PSP107"]lol, it was 6-3 when I step outside for a few hours come back 5 mins as of this writing its 9-7 Cards. lol, once again MLB( and NFL) prove The best team during the regular season do not win/or compete for the championship. But there's just something about baseball...everything can change at any moment. And these playoffs sure have shown that. Im not a NHL expert but I dont think lower seed wins all the time. 2011 Boston Bruins and 2010 local Chicago Blackawks had good regular seasons.

It doesn't happen all the time, but there tend to be a lot more upsets and lower seeds in the finals than other sports.

[QUOTE="Master_Live"]I got Yanks in 7. PSP107
Based of what? Where is your analysis?
I believe pitching is the most important factor in October. Verlander and CC cancel each other, Scherzer and Kuroda cancel each other, Fister and Pettite cancel each other, and Sanchez and Hughes are equally shaky. Detroit's bullpen has been shaky so far in the playoffs while the Yanks bullpen has been solid. For the talk about the Tigers offense they are top heavy with Cabrera and Fielder but not much depth. The Yanks lineup is deeper and can get out of funk because they have patience and see many pitches. The Yanks defense is better with the 3rd fewest errors in the AL, 15 less than Detroit. These team are pretty even, hence why I think it will go 7. Feel free to refute. It's always sad when such a legendary player goes down.Jeter fractures his ankle and is done for the remainder of the playoffs. I had the Tigers as favorites to win this series before that injury, but now it should probably be over in five games.

That would be stupid, A-Rod is "capable" at 3rd. He doesn't have the agility anymore to play short.TBS should stay doing the postseason. i dont hate joe buck and tim mcgarver but joe should stick with football. and the tbs broadcast has been good. orginally i thought ernie johnson should stick with basketball but he improved from last year.PSP107Yeah, Ernie has been better and that combo of Smoltz/Ripken should return.

Kuroda did his job. 0-2, with Verlander next? Time to panic.

Fat lady is warming up.
cc is pitching too so that should help. yankees bats need to wake up.CC isnt pitching game three. Phil Hughes is going against Justin Verlander.
The fat lady is warming up.

Yeah I read about that. The largest city in the U.S. can't even fill a 51,000 seat stadium. Kinda sad, I thought the Yankees had the most fans?Ushers in Yankee Stadium were instructed to move fans to lower levels so there wouldn't be so many empty seats viewable on television.
