[QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]

[QUOTE="clyde46"] Why not? You scared that they are using sub-standard parts?clyde46

If I gota complain about anything its the motherboard, for being matx and not having enough features. Dell usses Pc power and cooling psus, and they are one of the best.

Dell uses proprietary hardware so its a pain in the butt trying to find replacement parts. I had to replace a motherboard in my mums Dell and nothing on the market would fit in the normal orientation.

That's why Dells are bad. If something goes bad, you have to go directly to Dell, and Dell charges a premium.

Since everyone is saying price is the only issue, that should tell you where the hate is coming from, and if they were cheap everyone would have got one instead of building their own pc, unless you enjoy building pcs.

Alienware_fan

No the real issue is, there's nothing good about alien ware desktop.

Maybe at one point you'll grow out of the alien ware phase and wake up.

[QUOTE="lowe0"] Link to the rules post showing that it's mod approved?lowe0

But the rules don´t prohibit it either. The nickname peasant was being used for many years. If you don´t like some slang, don´t not use it, but you can´t prohibit its use for other people.

I'm not prohibiting its use, I'm questioning its validity. If you can't defend why you should be able to use it, that's not my problem.

I think the fact that is pisses you off is more then enough reason for everyone to use it all the time.
