The DLC just seems to be some form of "arcade" take on Mafia II, using leaderboards and such, so nothing relative to the main story. No doubt it will attract some people, but it's not exactly groundbreaking DLC.

Either way $50 a year isn't a lot of money, so I dunno why people keep complaining about it.

$50 a year is a almost a new game yearly,since 2005 this november it would be $250 dollars just for the privilage of paying for online play,that is what 4 games or more.?

If some people actually think it wil score lower cause of some missing grass and its the worse version cause of missing grass need to take a long hard look at themsevles and just say "im just sad".

You need to address my other points about the relevance of these other multiplatfrom games within this topic, and the discussion you quoted -- and by extension why the Live fees are relevant here.

4 games in 5 years isn't really a lot (unless your buying for cheap used prices). Whilst it's expensive to some, you can even get them on sale for around $30 at numerous times during the year. Either way, it's not that much money.

So I just played the demo on my 360 again. Damn that's an ugly game with loads of screen tearing.deleterguy

Besides grass I see no major differences in the game. Unless your the type to count every pixel and zoom in.

Its funny and sad at the same time that Xbox and PS3 owners are battling out on which turd is the least tolerable. Have fun with the subHD/30fps and screen tearing, while I crank this game to 1080p at 60fps:lol:

No is $50 a year i know that,but a non live owner looking to buy a RDR copy on 360 because it look better than on PS3,would soon find out that the 360 version needs another invertion to fully use the game while the PS3 version doesn't,ignoring that is quite sad,even trying to say that the PS3 version and 360 version had the same replay value or close is even more sad,is not true and we all know it to matain that iguality you need to put down $50 a year.

Some more pics. I think it is now widely agreed that the ps3 simply cannot handle heavy foliage, grass etc.. Again you can make fun of "da foliage" and grass all you want but to me it greatly adds to the graphical quality of the game and adds to the overall immersive experience.

My ps3 has better colors and never is washed out. But my 360 use to always have washed out colors and looked worse. I dont get it even on hdmi it looked washed out for some reason. My ps3 has never had this problem. But anyways would get on ps3 anyways thats all i have now. Well and a gaming pc but i like my consoles more lol.

again, thing going around the internet is that these demos are really old builds.

and its selling quite well on steam

Welcome to my world, man. I always see loads of nonsense videos and screen shots that contradict the image on my TV. The ps3 has a lot of settings, and it seems more than most "journalists" care to mess with.

Knew their had to be a big difference since this thread is huge. The grass in the PS3 version is pathetic. The trees aren't much difference, but the grass.. holy crap. :pMr_Cumberdale
