You know I am right....lets see an angry black woman revolutionary and a cruel industrialist who murders and abuses his workers. Nevermind Fink's personality and views are basically the same as Reaver's. Not only are Daisy and Fink lackluster characters, they are Fable III ripoffs.Sagem28

Doesn't live up to the hype. Level design, enemy design, and gunplay are not up to par with previous entries.

Belgian version is better, I agree.
Belgian, what is that?
No I am not....and you have proven to be an idiot time and time again. Poor Bioshock Infinite fans can't take criticism.Sagem28
Newsflash numbskull
I don't like infinite
Then why are you attacking me if you don't like it? You are in defense mode plain and simple. Get over it, I am right about Bioshock Infinite ripping from Fable III.
Land of Beer, chocolate and child molesters.
You have done your homework sir!
The BBC version is superiour, can we agree on that?

Damn, I never seen the BBC version.
I'll give it a look.
"Meh"! That's all I could say... Don't get me wrong, I really do like the Bioshock games and thought the story in Infinite was awesome (not shocking, but, awesome). The problem with Irrational Games is that now, they're caught between, "Do I make a good game, or, Do I make a game that will shock people???" And all of that is fine, but, once the novelty of "shock" wears off and goes away, what you're left with is an OK game... I mean, you play Bioshock for the story obviously! To those that played it, worth the hype?
edit: the game is 50% off that's why I'm asking

Actually when the "shock" wears off, the story turns out to be a complete and utter mess.
Instead of writing a coherent story with deep characters, Levine tried to get as twisty as he can and loses the story and its themes.
An the ending makes the entire plot pointless and basically themeless.

You praised the ending to ME3, I can't take you seriously. And a lot of people do not have a problem with the ending, its the vocal minority. But it least the mE3 ending followed the themes of the game and the series, especially the extended cut.The opinion depends on the person. Most of this forum consists of console users who only started after the xbox. So from that point of view, the opinions are mostly invalid,

And unlike your pathetic verbal diarrhea about themes, the strengths and weaknesses of which, by the way, are purely subjective, you can't talk about the actual story structure for two posts without revealing that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, to a degree that is frustrating, absurd, and laughable all at the same time. But of course, we've been down that road all to many a time by now. I think that much is clear to any regular poster. How you even have the gall to talk about it anymore is beyond me.
great world , story and characters
Â
mediocre gameplay with some really annoying fights
Â
i'd get Bioshock 1 or even 2 first if you didn't play themÂ
TheGrudge13
Except this is how I felt about Bioshock 1 back in 2007.
I was flustered with the combat halfway in bioshock 1 and it only got worse and worse to the point where I forced myself to finish because I just hated the combat and how firing a full 30 rounds of gatling gun ammo take only half the life bar of an average enemy.

Bringing themes such as racism, religious extremism , and nationalism and doing hardly anything noteworthy with them is just lazy. Bioshock Infinite is a great game, there's no doubt about that. But it's not the best to offer in terms of story/gameplay, which drags it down in quality alot.

DON'T YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT ELIZABETH, TEXAS DON'T YOU TALK SHIT ABOUT HER Elizabeth is the only good character, however, her development as a character was forced, and she finally goes off the rails in the end. Eleanor Lamb was the better Bioshock girl. But maybe Elizabeth will be a great character in the DLC.And a lot of people do not have a problem with the ending, its the vocal minority. Original or extended cut. I do believe a great deal if not a majority did not like the original ending, however the Extended Cut is a different story. Many people were satisfied with it. Actually while the three themes you mentioned were handled very poorly, the theme that really was done poorly was redemption, almost if not, a Broken Aesop. But I really don't think Bioshock Infinite knew what it really wants to be about, its an utter mess in the theme department.Ugh.
