I didn't say all people.

There are plenty of people in the world that play games, and some of which who take games seriously, and are normal human beings.

That said, this is the kind of behavior that I would expect from some of the basement dwelling social rejects that take video gaming very seriously from a gamer standpoint, as a hobby, not as a job.

Lots of people turn to games because of deeply rooted issues within themselves, their personalities, their personal lives, and they use gaming as a way to escape reality. This is just showing what those kind of people resort to.

I worked at Gamestop like 7 years ago, and I quit the job because I didn't like the fact that all the customers were gamers. A friend of mine to this day, was a fellow co-worker that I met while working at Gamestop, we actually opened a new store together, and he was the one that brought it to my attention. He was like, "Man, I like this job and everything, but I can't stand dealing with all these gamers every day. I just don't like gamers, they are pretentious stuck up elitist nerds". He really did have a good point, though. It really sucks working at a place like Gamestop, because most gamers out there are just pathetic excuses for human beings.

Yeah, I know. I play video games, and I even went as far as to make a username on a video game website, and gather a pretty nice collection of games. I admit, I am a part of the problem, and I would probably be better off if I stopped playing games. It's not healthy, but at least I know that. I know it isn't good to sit around playing video games. I haven't played a game other than FarmVille in almost 3 months. I go to the gym and work out every single day. I try to do other things to try and live a healthy life style, but I obviously play video games because I have like 2,000 posts on a video game forum, so I know that I am not exempt to criticism. I'm just letting it be known that it is an unhealthy lifestyle, especially when taken seriously.

I have seen some pretty complex farms, but mine is pretty simple. The only thing I have on my farm is crops, and it takes them 4 days to grow, and it only takes me less than 5 minutes to plant them. So I'm really only playing FarmVille for about 10 minutes a week.

As you pointed out though, even a game as easy to get into and as casual as FarmVille can be unhealthy. Like you said, seemingly jokingly, but true nonetheless, I'm sure some mothers out there do neglect their kids because of FarmVille. Video games as a whole are very unhealthy if taken seriously.

I am not sticking up for this woman at all but in general I think Bioware has the worst fanbase. Some examples is during the voting for the femshep people straight up lost it that she may have blond hair, many people canceling preorder because you can not holster your gun in ME3, the outcry and petitions for gay sex, and really the list could go on and on. No other developer has a fanbase that complains so much about everything they do. I am not saying every Bioware fan is bad since I am a huge one even but in general they do seem the worst. I am also not saying Bioware never does anything wrong but its fans will blow anything and everything out of proportion.
