Don't get me wrong, it does too amazing, but it seems to be emulating the next blockbuster AAA explosion extravaganza shooter. It isn't surprising, since Crytek previously said they wanted more sales.

That's a bad thing?
If you want tactical gameplay, go play ArmA. The Crysis series isn't some groundbreaking, tactical shooter. It's a pure, blockbuster shooter with some larger levels. You can easily shoot your way through 90% of the campaign if not more.
It's foolish to think of Crysis as something it is not.
Please dont put Crysis in the same department as other FPS games.. Crysis stands out as the most refreshing FPS in recent years..the gameplay is unlike anything on the market..Its foolish to think that Crysis is just another blockbuster shooter
"If you put it all together, Crysis is just remarkable. This is a game that pushes the envelope in terms of both technology and gameplay and does so with aplomb. Crysis raises the expectations for every shooter to follow when it comes to graphics, interactivity, environments, immersiveness, AI, and gameplay. Quite simply, Crysis represents the first-person shooter at its finest, most evolved form."
No it doesn't. Sure it was great but it was far from "revolutionary." Don't know if we played the same game.
You want a truely revolutionary FPS play some ArmA or World War II Online. Crysis had some unique gameplay that seems to have stuck (if you would read some previews and not just watch a trailer).
Do you really think Cryteck, of all of the developers, is just going to remake Call of Duty with the CryEngine and call it Crysis 2?
