Crysis 2 Xbox 360 gameplay footage.. graphics look awful

That video looks terrible, doesnt look any better than Halo 3, seriously. I hope the graphics improve greatly because right now they are underwhelming

Wow... WTF happened to Crysis? A bit off topic, but now I don't really care about it. Seems like an "Action Shooter", which the original operated more around stealth, but you had the choice on how you wanted to play it. This has console game written all over it. I think I'll be passing on this 1. Makes me sad I loved Crysis and Warhead.

The game just looks very underwhelming, i was expecting groundbreaking graphics for consoles, i could name 5 console games that look much better than this.

How can you say that looks awful, what exactly do you want. The game look awesome and better looking than any other FPS released so far.

1. ColonialDrakePS3 has admitted in the past that he was a cow, so this thread should be no surprise to anyone

Im guessing its easier for people to come grab a controller than setup a computer desk and chair with a mouse and keyboard.

Looks like a low quality vid version of what I saw at E3. In other words, the game looks great to me.

Yeah I saw this same video at E3 and it looked much better; probably just a bad youtube conversion. Then again, for some reason I don't think what I say is going to matter in a thread like this....

It was confirmed by Cry-Sam, a developer for Crytek, and mod at Crymod.com, that it was indeed 360 version being played through the PC. The 360 dev kit streamed to PC for stability reasons. LinkyLinky.

That footage looks as good as Killzone 3 in my opinion.

I know right god forbid i run and gun because that would impy that im dumbing down a game for console kiddies, Crysis 1 was a FPS with action you fought a giant alien on a half burnt boat fr crying out load, don't listen to that guy up there he was just using stealth in a game thaqt is FPS to lengthen gameplay time becasue has no real life freinds and is a miserable elitist spouting garbage when he knows nothing about games and or the development process of games. I might have in a rage lol. Killzone 3 looks amazing, there's no denying, but to say Crysis 2 isn't looking as good so far, is a lie. This looks as good as this in my opinion. And remember, those videos shown of Crysis 2 are cropped levels for E3 demonstration purposes. They'll be much larger at release. :)

Well I have no problem with console shooters, but this game was designed completely differently than Crysis 1 to the point where it no longer even looks like Crysis, and Yes.. I did beat Crysis and Warhead as stated in my original post... But Crysis had HUGE open environments and you could go about almost every situation differently. So far all I've seen is small corridor battles. I guess the lack of the original jungle scene is starting to get to me. I love NY(NYC resident), but it just doesn't seem to fit the game IMO.

Killzone 3 over exaggerated EVERYTHING. Why can't people see this? :? Those sunbeams in Killzone 3 look like they'd slice you in half if you walked through them. :lol:
