Nope....doom3's guns are more accurate...the whole movement/looking/jumping everything is much smoother than crysis.

nah..not really. D3 is horribly linear, the AI is almost non-existant, the gameplay is far less varied and the combat is overall nowhere near as satysfying as in Crysis

lol the guns shoot so sloppy and all over the place in crysis...

doom3's looking/feel is smoother...it's crosshair is more accurate...the jumping is better...you can time the hand grenades...yes doom3's gameplay is better

So what does everyone think of the game so far? Initially I thought I wasn't going to like it as much because of the more action-oriented approach, but it really makes the game very exciting. Teufelhuhn

I havent got it yet but I'm liking what I'm hearing...just got to wait till tomorrow lol.

nah. they're pure crap, lacking both the polish of Quake3 nor the frantic pace of Doom2. I have never been as dissapointed by game's MP as I was with D3

They were pretty much fully fleged titles on their own, but yeah I do think their scores are a bit generous (Vice especially)

Im not sure how much that CPU is bottlenecking the video card, but I can run it on high, with the 1.2 patch and it gets a constant 30-40fps average. Using the natrual mod, which improves the visuals dramatically gives it a 30fps constant, however it dips a bit in intensive action sequences.

In SoC, I felt like I owned the place. This time, however, I am even reluctant to go and fight small groups of bandits. This game is keeping me on edge and it's capturing that "you need to survive" feel incredibly.

Is someone trying to compare DOOM 3 to Crysis?.....I have lots and lots of hours on doom 3 and ressurections of doom 3 and you can check my Xfire for that but seriously...BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA to that. the weapons are more accurate and dont shoot all over the place...the looking feels smoother...the character movement is smoother...jumping doesnt gain you speed in crysis.

but the bullets hit where you point the crosshair unlike crysis.

crysis the bullets dont even hit where you point the crosshair.

it's sad im more accurate shooting guns in real life than shooting guns in crysis it's trying to be realistic and fails bigtime.

I used to go to a shooting range in the country....and we'd just walk around shooting down trees with shotguns and crap lol and walk around shooting **** with pistols.

Ive shot down tree's with trunks about this size or alittle bit bigger with shotguns in real life.....i think took about 4-6 shots or something to bring it down all way this was with birdshot.

This was after you already shot all the targets up/clay pigeons and got tired of shooting this old refridgerator.

We went exploring and just started shooting stuff...plus wanted to see if you could take down a tree.
