Crysis warhead 9.0 AAAE at GS

I played half-way though the game and this game is a lot beter than Crysis. Except at the beginning and the vehicule sequence, I got absolutly no lag and I am playing this on high. The story is better, psycho is a lot more interesting than Nomad ( I often call him the Rock cuz of his range of emotion). I have to say though that the graphic are definatly dumbed down, they lack the vivid colors (grey and brown like all the game this gen :( ) and the background lost it's detail, in exchange we get better explosion.

A clear AAA though, Crysis was a let-down in some areas while Warhead is ultimatly what Crysis should have been.

But ya the price performance of that PC is abysymal.

Doom3 weapons own crysis.....you dont need to use the sights to aim good...plus even the sights suck on crysis.

the freelook/mouse looking is smoother on doom3, the jumping is better....jumping gains you speed unlike crysis where it slows you down.

you can pull the pin to a hand grenade and throw it as it's about to explode unlike crysis.

you can rocket jump...shoot out lights....hide in the shadows.

you cant do none of this in crysis.

the only do advantages crysis has is ability to melee and prone crawl and bigger multiplayer maps...but you can make your own doom3 maps better/bigger than crysis multiplayer maps if you wanted.

the core shooting gameplay in doom3>>>crysis

crysis has no destructible stuff online haha....it's more next gen than doom3 how?

doom3 online you can push around explosive barrells push them infront of a door/shoot it when someone trys to walk through..there's also random stuff to push around...plus has glass physics online.

You could make some killer maps for doom3 if you wanted...but nobody does man this sucks...everyone's moved to crappier games.

the person who made this map didnt have much mapping skills...but still a nice deathmatch map.

This doom3 mapper had more skills...but he chose to make a smaller map...but still nice.

Sucks more skilled mappers arent making **** for doom3 deathmatch.

crysis is a pretty cool game...but i think for straight up deathmatch doom3's just overall better.

This doom3 mapper had some skills.....if you got the skills you can make some pretty damn amazing **** with the editor....hopefully when they release the doom3 source code people will start making maps again.

LOL....people still play doom3 online..dude...but seems there hasnt been any new maps released lately.

Seems like people arent mapping for it anymore.

This game need's some more quality deathmatch maps.

Dude doom3 plays like quake 2 online basically...

crysis online isnt better than quake 2.

for deathmatch doom3>always crysis simply because of better character movement and freelooking mechanics.

ANYWAY, back on topic...

Has anyone given the multiplayer a go yet? I still haven't downloaded it off Steam yet, but I've heard the team deathmatch mode is a lot of fun.

i tried it at my friends house yesterday, and i can honestly say it is tons better than crysis MP. little to no lagg, no cheating (yet), pb didnt give any problems, was LOADS of fun (can be compared to cod4 level fun) , i didnt try the vehicle map though (my friend didnt have a joystick :P )
