Dodging is really good as long as you're not encumbered which occurs if your equipped weight is 50% or more of your total weight possible. Leveling endurance and vitality early helps alot. Also ring of great strength allows you to carry heavier equipment at lower endurance levels.

All difficult games are like NG? NG obviously invented difficulty. This kind of statement is clearly from someone who has neither played, nor watched a single video of the game (Demon's Souls). :|

But it's ridiculous that a game shuns a huge portion of people almost purposely, games should be accessible even if you're not highly skilled. That's part of what makes games good, having a correct skill level. Why didn't Prince of Persia get higher, it got knocked for being too easy, maybe it was just trying to appeal to people who suck?

Demon's Soul is nothing like NG.... even in difficulty -__-

A game isnt bad just because you are bad at playing it, cant handle the difficult or because its not oriented for casual gamers.
