Dice Technical director.Why the frostbite engine will never come to the WiiU.

A recent comment by DICE's technical director on twitter in response to a twitter follower's question about WiiU third party support from them has revealed that the WiiU struggles to run FB2 and most likely and will not receive future support from DICE.

If the cryengine 3 can run fine on the WiiU then their must be another reason to why DICE does not want to port FB3 to the WIIU.

You're confusing DICE with EA.

EA doesn't want to support the Wii U.

The Wii U has horrible hardware.  Frostbite 2 requires decent hardware.  This should not surprise anyone.

It's extremely flexible from what I understand. It's mostly been used for web and mobile and it supports nearly everything. The licensing model is way better than what UDK and CE3 have IIRC. Hard to judge how the engine would looked when pushed by bigger studios when they haven't used it (yet.)

Wasteland 2 and Project Eternity are Wiiware games? :? Not saying we're getting them, but it wouldn't take much for them for any Unity dev to port their games over. That's why Nintendo gives away Pro licenses with their dev kits. It's not like UE4 and FB3 are going to be at their best on PS4 or 720 (though better than Unity games for sure.)
