Some higher res and those screenshots will be good enough for wallpapers. Can't wait what the next-gen brings.
I was pretty disapponted that I didn't have the Supra RX. Thankfully there was a Japanese 90's Seasonal (You know, those events that PD gives GT5 Users weekly for free) a few weeks back. GUESS WHAT CAR WAS ON THE POLE!!!!
Unfortunately it's not at Suzuki since I was at the mercy of the seasonal lineup
Hey look Reflections!! Sky and Road!!
Thats as close as I could zoom in
Guess who the handsome devil in the Lancer is?
That Clio looks pretty good! I love that car!! Does Forza have the Clio Trophy car? It eats Super cars at Nurburgring.... I'm going to try some editing and see if I can get our pics side by side. The Forza Cars may have an edge but the GT5 standards are more than holding their own. FAR from the PS2 cars that the kiddies like to scream about...Okay Nuck81...

Your move. :)

Ok GT5 looks a little better in Photomode. They both look great though so enjoy racing. :)

I tried to get as close to comparable shots as I could. Forza models are slightly more detailed than GT5 Standards, but the GT5 lighting is a little more realistic.
I enjoyed this....
[QUOTE="campzor"]rumbalumba wins threadkuraimenCompletely destroys it actually :P I saw the first few pages and was actually laughing at the people posting really bad GT 5 pictures. Anyone who's been on GTPlanet has seen why GT 5 is the photo mode (read: Bullshot) king! :D

Though this one is more impressive than anything I've seen from Forza. Still, GT5 really does fall apart in real-time. The motion blur, shadows, and particle effects are an eyesore.
As a big GT fanboy, I'm not even sure if we're looking at the same screenshots That is comparing Forza 4 to GT5 Standards. The Standards more than hold their own. The Solstice looks better in Forza no question, despite them being slightly different versions of the Solstice. The Clio the first pic goes to Forza, and the second pic looks better in GT5 to me due to the lighting. The Supra...Well frankly I think they both suck.[QUOTE="Nuck81"]

Slightly more detailed?
This is a joke, right? Please tell me this is a joke...
No Joke, and the Forza models are still eaten alive by the GT5 PremiumsNuck81
 Wow.
Forza 4's cars (all of them) destroy GT5's standards. It's not even debatable and it's DEFINITELY not a "slight" difference. The only way you could say this with a straight face is if you're
A) Lying through your teeth
B) Blind
C) Haven't actually played Forza 4
I mean wow. Having played both, even during gameplay, Forza 4 blows GT5 away when comparing Standards to Forza 4 counterparts and it's not even close.
GT5's premiums vs Forza 4's cars is, on the other hand, debatable. Do GT5's premiums look better? Perhaps, but the difference isn't anything more than marginal.

There's not a single standard car in GT5 that can match any car in Forza 3, let alone Forza 4.
Please, go play Forza 3 and 4 before commenting again. You're just embarrassing yourself now.

Those pics are CLOSE. If you want something that DESTROYS, check how GT5 Standards DESTROY Forza 3.... The difference is greater since the standards don't have the post-processing to pretty them up. Their status as standard cars may be brought into question depending on the camera angle and filters in exported media, but in real-time, they definitely look like they were ripped straight from a PS2 game. No amount of caps lock can change that ;)Actual during Gameplay the difference is even LESSENED to the point where you can't tell at all. And what about the Standard car "destroys" the Forza 3 car? The painted on textures? The completely flat body? The generic grid grilles? The painted on rims?
Once again, you use smaller pictures and far away camera angles to obscure the fact that GT5's standards look mediocre to just plain awful, ESPECIALLY in comparison to Forza 3 or Forza 4's cars. Hell, Polyphony Digital doesn't even let you get in close to take a picture of a standard car because even THEY know how bad their standards look.
Seriously dude, take off the goggles, get some contacts and actually look at the two games before you speak. Seriously. This is just bad.
isnt it sad when consoles bullshots and photo modes cant even beat PC in realtime? especially since GTA4 is an open world game aswell makes it even more sad

LOL. DAMAGE CONTROL POST!! They are practically the same distance. One is from the left the other is the right. The Forza 3 model lacks the lighting, the grill detail, the logo detail, The fog light detail, the road and sign reflections, and the headlamp detail that the GT5 standard does. You said NO GT5 standard car looks better than Forza 3 and yet here before within a minute is picture proof otherwise. Sorry, but you're wrong again!! Instead of spouting nonsense off the top of your head, try using photographic, and video evidence to prove your statements. It's a lot more credible...to the cows Rally on GT5 was horrid and implemented about as effectively as playing the piano with your feet.

no doubt GT5's photo mode is better it took them 5-6 years to release 1 game and a half game :P
Forza is well ahead as a GAME, that where GT lacks being brutally honest and i can say a lot of folks will agree.
Somewhat you're true. I dislike Forza 4's tracks and prefer GT5's to be honest. I hope Turn10 make some track DLC because the game desperately needs some more.no doubt GT5's photo mode is better it took them 5-6 years to release 1 game and a half game :P

too bad nobody wants to look at gta4 carsjohnnyblazed88Ironically those cars added in GTA 4 as a mod are the high poly detailed models from Forza 3/4 Only time you see those kind of details in GT5 and Forza are in photomode because the consoles cannot handle them with regular gameplay.

The ring on FM4 is meh its not tight enough and its horribly underused :(
I wouldnt mind seeing brands hatch in either game, and FM4 needs Spa or Fuji :P
i think the most obvious thing that can be taken from this topic is that the skill of the person taking the picture is far more important than which game he's (or she's) taking a picture in. At least in terms of GT5 vs Forza 4 anyway.
