I have the June 229 Issue if EGM and it says this on their next-month preview section:
July Issue (#230) - on sale June 3.
Stomp 'Em To The Curb
Rev those chain saw guns, gore geeks - next month we'll be spilling all the bloody details on Gears of War 2. Microsoft's other popular sci-fi shooter has got our trigger fingers itchin' pretty bad, so we're going to alieviate the tingling by being the first in the world to get our greedy paws on the game's single player campaign. In addition to our hadcore hands-on session, we'll also be the first to reveal all the new multiplayer details. Hmm, we wonder what it will have. Some new modes, perhaps? (We hope.) Chain saw dels? (We really hope.) The same archaic matchmaking? (God, we really hope not.) Be sure to roadie run to the newsstands next month to find out all the juicy info about what's actually going down in the fall's must-have Xbox 360 game.
While we're going to love sawing suckers in half in Gears of War 2's multiplayer, we're not too keen on the Wii's shoddy online play. What gives? Come back next month as we discover why the Wii can't handle the fast life of the internet superhighway.
Of course, we'll also have a slew of new previews to take a peek at, including the first look at Rare's furry platformer Banjo-Kazooie 3. Plus, the Review Crew will get down with the highly anticipated tittles like Metal Gear Sold 4: Guns of the Patriots and Ninja Gaiden II.
