Especially when compared with other RPG's/Action Adventures or whatever Fable wants to call itself to avoid criticism.

Not from gamespot, when crap like Far Cry 2 can muster an 8. At some pointyou have to think of these scores relative to other games.

I would like to mention that games like Fallout are exempt as the only issue with them is bugs, the actual game doesn't suck.

It would liek to mention that games like Fallout are exempt as the only issue with them is bugs, the actual game doesn't suck.

Developers need to stop being so f***ing lazy and finish their f***ing games. I'm tired of half assed games getting released and needing a barage of patches to fix them.

Well think of this way too: Fall out New Vegas has a bunch of bugs but there will be patches to make the game acutally enjoyable to play. If we're only taking into consideration the last few scores then Fable is rated pretty well. We've had a 9/7.5/7/7/7/6/6/

One of my favorite games this gen is one of the biggest flops in system wars :Too Human

I also enjoyed Halo Wars. It's still a floppity flop though.

I'm just gonna' come on out and say this: I just got no love for Fable. The game's desire to do all these different things ultimately leaves it strung out, trying a lot of things but mastering nothing.

Is it a sim-like social experience game? No, the conversation system is too limited.

Is it an action game? Yes, put prepare to mash them buttons on some unbelievably easy enemies.

Is it an RPG? :lol:

Blah. Didn't like Fable or Fable II. I'm gonna' wait a few years for Steam to sale this doggy and then I'll check 'er out.

I'm sure the ratio is going to sway depending on the review schedule and such but I was just trying to make a general statement. I'm sure that on average, 10 reviews would score lower than 7.5 on this site.

It's true, but it's a reviewers job to be critical I guess. If I enjoy the game I can live with most technical flaws.

I judge my purchases on friend recommendations. Which normally vary between Crap, Not Bad, Pretty Good. Good system :)
