Havem't played ME so I really have no opinion on this :P I stopped reading reviews for the most part though, I normally just like forum comments and gameplay as indicators. Gamers are less forgiving than the press in areas that matter to me (well sometimes)

It's true, but it's a reviewers job to be critical I guess. If I enjoy the game I can live with most technical flaws.

I judge my purchases on friend recommendations. Which normally vary between Crap, Not Bad, Pretty Good. Good system :)

Friend recommendation is a good way. My friends tastes vary though, from "awesome" to "eww why are you playing that garbage" I def like renting though, good friend its been to me. Oh and cheap ass bargin bins :P

I love that people think this is earth shatter news. Its not like its Lair and is getting 4's and 5's everywhere. Most real sites / mags have this game 8.0+. Yes systems wars its a flop. But in the real world no one cares about 1 site's review. People are like "now this game woun't sell" or "will people get ___ now that Fable flopped?" ROFLMAO. Ya'll need tocome to grips with the fact that no one cares about system wars besides people posting in it and gamespot reviews are agrain of sand on the beach as far as a game's overall reviews.

Thing is, GS tends to score games above to 7.0 range if it's any good. GS is rather soft and just like any other reviewing site, they don't use their scale to their FULLEST. Which is why some people view a 7.5 or even 7.0 as a low score since GS tends to play around the 8.0 zone a lot.

Naww but some people have different views too you know. A 7.5 might not be ones cup of tea.:P Like I said before, I'm pretty sure someone who likes getting 85% and above in stuff would not be pleased with a 75%.:P

Also Snooze was talking about how the game scored bad (in his opinion) on GS and didn't mention other sites on his initial post. I would understand if that was what ohthemanatee was trying to say if Snooze had said that "it's getting bad scores" in general but that's not what he had said.:P His reply to Snooze was sort of random and did not contribute towards anything Snooze had originally posted about how it scored on GS... Okay now I'm going in circles.:P

In the end if that's what ohthemanatee wanted to say then okay.:) However it doesn't really fit with what Snooze had said and came off rather... I don't know blunt?:P

The game is still AA on metacritic though right? Which basically means it's a AA trilogy.:) ... Of course it won't be a trilogy onces a 4th one comes out.:P

A 7.5 is by no means bad per se, but a 7.5 isn't really "great" or "high quality" or so I've been told on here.
