I don't think Halo fans bought Halo Wars 2 for the MP. We bought it for the furthering of the Spirit of Fire and the Ark's story in the expanded universe. The MP has been a lot of fun in blitz mode though. You are trying SO hard to win instead of just staying present and that's why many are now wrecking you.

The game has sold faster than any exclusive game on the Flopbone and has proven that SP games are still very relevant and that Phil Spencer is an idiot. Lems should stop damage controlling and tell dumbass Phil "No Games" Spencer to release some damn quality exclusives on the FlopBox One.

Well, to be fair, single player games would be bigger if more of them were A) available B) were of great quality. I look forward so much to single player games more and more because I am such a huge MP fan as well. After a while, you crave a great lengthy story to dig into by yourself. As I got older my playtime diminished a bit so I can look forward to playing these games in bite size pieces whereas some players plow straight through marathon style. But, GOW is also my favorite franchise so that helped. Wish more games of this level of quality would come out.

Major PC MMOs has both SP and MP story lines. World of Warcraft has SP story for player's character i.e. it's not Rocket League pure MP. Elders Scroll Online (MMO) has both SP and MP story lines.

No it'll just take 5 years to fix it....

@cainetao11: They had a sp campaign in the works for Blops4, but some development hell that we dont fully know yet got it canned and a new battle royale mode tossed in. I agree that COD is a MP first game, but the campaigns still have a big following (for some strange reason).

Took a year to fix on PC. The game runs fine now.

The new problem is the rampant cheating.

Well, it needs to be fixed on the xbox one. And people will always want certain things fixed. It did have an official release on PC and it's playable. Heck, Fortnite players are always wanting things fixed too, this is typical for these games as service.

I don't deny that. But the person arguing with me is going to great ignorant lengths. So if MP gets cut from a COD one year, do you think it leads that year in games sold? Not many do from the people Ive talked to.

It all starts with the interview with Phil Spencer, that hardcore cows want to take out of context for sole purpose of pointing a finger saying "Look he's wrong!!!" They do not wish to truly read what was ACTUALLY said in its full context nor have a truthful, grounded conversation about the merits and faults of the interview. No matter how great GoW, Horizon, Mario, Zelda do, one can point to companies making more money with MP games. Horizon was a massive hit and selling game that supposedly proved Spencer wrong last year but on PS4 the top selling game once again was COD.

So does Diablo.

I gaurentee you that aint the main draw.
