In defence if Blue Dragon, I'll say that alot of 7+ JRPG games are really good and should really be tried out for yourself to see it's good or not, it could end up being your favorite game of all time.

Example:

Odin Sphere = 7.6

Radiata Stories = 7.7 (no frecking kidding that's the best RPG i've played since Grandia II on DC. And speaking of Grandia II...)

Grandia II= 7.9 (This is regarded by games all around as one of the greatest RPGs ever made...GS gave it 7.9)

every single one of these games are exceptional but somehow the moron who reveiwed these seemed to find them only to be average. Anyway I'm not saying BD is a great game or otherwise, I'm just saying I'd use my own judgement in deciding the quality ofsomething asdelicate as the quality of an RPG.

I'm not even an xbox fan nordo I have any anticipation forthis game, I'm just spaking as a gamer to other gamers who might end up liking this game.

Odin Sphere was excellent, but it also had excellent story.

Radiata Stories... that game sucked. Well made technically but poor storytelling and poor story itself killed it. It wasn't as funny as many people claims.

Grandia II.... you sure you are talking about Grandia II? In Grandia series, first one was the best. Rest of them were incredibly long dungeon crawler with not so interesting story.

Umm, its very similar to FFX and DQ8, which were last gen. Also it reminds me of the ps1 rpg era, which was when my favorite rpgs came out, such as FF7-FF9.

FFX was decidedly more progressive than Blue Dragon, even if I felt it didn't bring much new to the genre it still didn't bring it back any either. DQVIII you have a point on, but it appears to be a better game than Blue Dragon. So for the record:

FFX more progressive than BD

Huh? How am I a hypocrite? I never once said Lair flopped here, and this is the only place that matters.

Don't hype Two Worlds, you'll only be hurt in the end. BTW, Persona 3 just came out and last gen or not its a far more unique and interesting title than Blue Dragon.
