Reason people were hyping AAA on Gamespot was probably because of 9gn.com review lol. Batman:Arkham City is next, lets see if the floppage of sequels continues.

Guess that makes 2 flops for PS3 this year. 360 is doing WAY better than PS3 at not getting flops this year.

That's the only version, lol. Wow, 7.5. It was hyped AA as the review came out in that other thread and in this thread...but if that 7.5 score by Mr. Tom McShea stands, that's that. :P

Guess that makes 2 flops for PS3 this year. 360 is doing WAY better than PS3 at not getting flops this year.

I truly hate reviews thatsay "this is the sameas the previous game" but give other games the pass hell just look at COD. It makes them look like a joke. Also this review easly is sumed up as he didint liek the story/characters,he didint liek how moral was done and he had a problem with the whole black and white thing when your dieing which others seem not to.

The newer, harsher Gamespot spawned in 2011 lol. I am sure if Vanquish, Black Ops would of gotten a 7-8 if they were reviewed now.

Well that's different, it actually did improve everything drastically. Console devs don't do as much improving as PC devs, except maybe Naughty Dog or DICE.

I guess the good old days of constant 9s are over, but you can still get that at IGN lol.

The strategic voting failed, it's still a flop. I saw that thread made a DAY ago, after a few reviews were out not as good as people expected, strategic voting is all it was. I checked official hype thread and it had no score poll.

A stunning FLOP!! It's official: Infamous 2 is a turd!!!!!

The GS review is a disappointment, I respect GS reviews but now i'll need to reevaluate.

Infamous 2 was superior in every aspect to it's predecessor, which got a 9, but it received a 7.5? This is absurd. COD and Madden gets released every year with the exact same content/material yet they receive a consistently good review.

Wow, I'll accept my ownage here. I thought it would get a 9.0. When reviews started coming in, I'd thought it would get an 8.0 at the lowest. Oh well, I think the game looks great and I enjoyed the demo so I'll keep my preorder. Still, I'm surprised.

2011 went from "year of the PS3" (which cows have claimed every year since it's launch) to another average year it seems... can't say I'm surprised. Anyway, I'll pick this game up when the price drops.

Incorrect, this game had AA HYPE, as fakeboys (alt account lems, sheep, hermits, etc) were doing their best, like every game to beef up 'da ownage'. It's still a flop though. It happens with every big exclusive.

Also, SOCOM 4 manipulation was by factions attempting ownage, trying to push SOCOM hype high. zThe SOCOM SW story isn't correct at all, lol. I have screen caps of that poll and saw people trying to push SOCOM to get ownage as well. I don't even care that much anymore, but there is a bunch of users that knows and saw how it went down in a more accurate light. I have links on that affair and this one and I was apart of the whole thing. You got one side of a story, not the whole picture. There were many other games in SW history that me and a lot of users have spoken about in PMs about lol.

EDIT : Thinking about this more, I don't even care. Infamous 2 is a flop, and I didn't make the game, so whatever, lol.

Reading through the review some, I have to agree with most of his complains. However, I dont think the score matches the complaints, particularly when you gave inFamous a 9 for the exact same problems. dragonball3900

Oh well, Pokemon White got a 7.5 and it's probably one of my favorite games of all time.

"Oh noez the screen goes black and white when you get hit" It does the same thing in Uncharted 2.

"Oh noez the camera is bad" It wasn't that bad in the demo. It really didn't hurt the gameplay.
