Is it possible to build a 400$ PC and run games as powerfull as Killzone 2?

These GPUs can easily run games at 1280x720p.

Most people have a tv, the ones that don't probably don't know what a video game is, they might have a computer for work but they probably do something else for their hobbies.

But any way its pretty safe to assume someone has a tv to hook up their console to, its not safe to assume everyone has a computer that is capable of gaming, or compatible with upgrades, or cannibalizing the rest of the pieces to make a new one.

You're a PS3 gamer, if you are a launch PS3 gamer then you likely bought into the greatest pile of mass market propaganda that I had the "privilege" to experience unfold. Launch PS3 gamers believed they were buying a home super computer that would pump 1080p in every game with movie quality graphics, they paid $599 on launch believing they were getting a premium experience.

Therefore they should have at least some understanding of why someone would want a top of the line gaming machine, assuming they aren't too brand biased to relate.

To take advantage of lazy people who cannot be bothered to learn how to insert a GPU into the same shaped slot.

Why keep asking these questions when it has already been answered various times? Some people just want a better than standard experience and are willing to pay for that, it's not a mandatory requirement of PC gaming.
