Well you start a thread about how the 360 had good games at this point and the foundation is PDZ and that launch games got a higher GS score so umm...yeah..you :).  

System Wars is not football, baseball or soccer. And since when was it a rule that you had to either admit the 360 had great games before Gears or admit that the PS3 has no good exclusives? As that is what you are implying here. And by taking such a notion at face value, it is clear that it is set up in a pro 360/anti PS3 fashion.

For me it is. I am well aware that his central point is to get people to admit that the 360 had good games before Gears of War, but even if they do not, it is not an admission that the PS3 does not have any good exclusives right now. No.  By saying the 360 has no good exclusives before Gears of War, that means you don't count any of the AA games as good exclusives.  And that also means the PS3 has no good exclusives because its only AAA is multiplat.  By saying the 360 did have good exclusives you're saying its AA games were good and are also saying the PS3 has decent exclusives.

I'm as cow as the next guy. I'll be the first to tell you that this drought of games for PS3 has been unbearable. I didn't pay attention to the entire 10 months prior to Gears' release for 360, but from what I know from other owners there weren't the slew of games available that many of you act like 360 had, XBL was barren of anything, and some people spent more time waiting for replacement 360s than playing games.  

Before Gears came out, I already had over 10 great games in my library. Hardly a drought. XBL was happening for me at least with PDZ, COD2, and Chromehounds.

The only two games I feel like I'm missing out on are Dead Rising and GRAW. After playing those I really wish they had been on the PS3 early on. Other then that I'll take the library for the PS3 in the 7 month time frame.Ibacai

I'll say this again, PS3 games are held to higher standard than the original X360 games were when they were released.  PS3 games were being rated at a time when X360 started releasing their best games (both 1st/2nd/3rd party games).

Now I know you've said before gamespot does not do that....meaning they wouldn't rate a PS3 game lower because it's being judged against 2nd generation X360 games.  I ask this, why then did PS3 Oblivion actually score LOWER than the X360 version that was released a year earlier?

Reading the review of the PS3, it's stated quite clearly the PS3 version is better graphically and content wise than the original release of the X360 version.  So why would it actually get a lower score?  If what you have said previously was true and when a title is released doesnt' matter, why didn't PS3 version score higher or at the very least the same score?

Maybe you dont understand the concept of System Wars. Of course everyone has a different opinion, but its Gamespots opinion that counts. Sure people will love Zelda: Twilight Princess, but its still considered a flop because Gamespot rated it AA. If you cant deal with this, then leave.

Posts like yours always get shot down due to proof that GS has downplayed more 360 games than most.

Cows have said "Wait a year". Know why? Because this fall PS3 will have a lot of great games. More great games than 360. 360 will have more games, but PS3 will have more great games.
