Unleashed suffers in the night time levels they are simply not all that fun.

I barley care about the SMG vs SU comparison I should have known that everyone whould pick that since it's so overrated. but what I'm most surprised at is how people think the eii version is better than the HD versions, I need someone to explain that to me.LakeBake666Hmm, now where have I heard that before?
BTW, if you knew people would pick SMG, then why did you create this thread?

I hope you don't take everything figuratively. The demo is easy, I think you are just lacking skill man, SRB2 is amazing, and the demo is plain easy.yes. Techno Hill Act 2 is hopelessly broken and had giant pools of purple acid in the version i played. How could hate SU and then turn around and say a broken game by an unofficial development team is better?

Look at the review scores, plain and simple. SMG is also one of the highest rated games of all time and won multiple GOTY awards.Picesit's a good game but it's not that great to me, whats so special about it?

Lacking skill? I'd could say the same about everyone who thinks Unleashed is a broken game. I've ready S ranked Spagonia Night and have trained on Spagonia day and got a B rank. Once I level up Sonic's speed, I should get an even better ranking. Anyway, my point is that when you'd fall into those acid pits, you're still alive but can barely get out. Then the makers of the game made it so you can drown in that stuff while losing rings. Sure, I was using a keyboard to play instead of a PC controller but it bothers me that ST.Jr's game has design and yoy forgive them yet you seem to, like almost everyone else, get ticked off by a few pitfall deaths. SU takes skill too so unless you can S rank stages like 1stkirbyever, you're really bashing a game that you simply aren't good at.[QUOTE="sonicthemegaman"][QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"] What are you talking about I can beat the demo in 5 seconds.JigglyWiggly_

SMG is also one of the highest rated games of all time and won multiple GOTY awards.LakeBake666it's a good game but it's not that great to me, whats so special about it? Well I definitely think Galaxy is good. It's way better than Sinshine in pretty much all aspects. Sunshine annoyed me but, Galaxy got it right. The thing is though that SU and Galaxy are too different to truly compare. SU is about speed and combat while Galaxy focuses on gravity and platforming. If anything, I'm not afraid to admit I like SU more though Galaxy is much more polished. Neither are perfect though. SU has some camera issues here and there and Galaxy is too easy for my taste. I understand people like it. Honestly, I still think that if it wasn't a Mario game, there'd be less hype. I've played many overrated games and Galaxy is one of them. There is nothing in Galaxy that I'd consider truly revolutionary and I'd rather play AE3 or the old Crash games then subject myself to a game that's pretty much forced down my throat by its fans. Galaxy is a good game but, those rating really don't mean anything and the game has enough flaws to say that it's overrated.

Hmm... according to Metacritic, there have only been twelve games ever made that are better than SMG. According to Gamerankings, there have only been two. I don't even want to think about how far down the list Sonic Unleashed falls.SMG does Massive Damage to Sonic Unleashed.

It's not a good game, I beat it, the werehog levels made me want to strangle myself. It's not a hardgame either, it's just borring. I own the wii version, probably the best version because there is no blasted city uselessness. I also never complained that it's hard. It's just not good, don't make up thoughts. The reason I love SRB2 is, is because it catches the whole old school Sonic theme perfectly, the music is right, the look of Sonic is perfect and it's just brilliant. Doubt you'd know though.

Also anyone who captures Sonic real attitude from any green eyed moment is wrong, this is how Sonic the Hedgehog is:
Not this bloody tosser:
Yes that is from the official archie Sonic Comics. I think you should read it, I am sure you can relate.
Awww The classic Sonic VS Mario battle/argument!!! The Sonic game is way better!! I don't understand why Sony won't just buy Sonic from Sega, It would do Sonic more justice. Sonic should never be on a Nintendo system. That is what hurt the character. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles should never be on a Nintendo.

SA1 and 06 had cities. wither or not the "cities" in Unleashed suck is pretty subjective. like I said, I like meeting up with Brenda for interviews and the mini stories are slighty amusing. apparently Dora is shy around boys and David just asked her out though i doubt you'd know about that -_-.

Yeah they should make a real platforming gamefor Mario and Sonic, not this OG stuff. Bowser and Robotnik could team up and create an army of Egg-Koopas. That should be a good game. I have both versions of SA1 and SA2. Really, the arguement I get mostly is that they didn't age well rather that the GC remakes are literally worse. All I can say to that is that they're the same games from the DC. I expected nothing else. It kills me sometimes when people say SA ruined Sonic. Remember GameGear? SADX even has samples of some of those games. Sonic Blast made me want to kill myself. The GameGear games may even be worse than Sonic 06. I agree. Ill add that Nintendo 64 had a hand in destroying Sega as well. Many do not know thehistory between Nintendo and Sony. Their issues run deep. Sonic matches well with Sony.
On another note I just played that Sonic game on the PS3...The game is fresh!!! Now I never played any thing after Sonic & Knuckles...This Sonic game looks really good. I love how it looks. You mean Unleashed? Well I own the PS3 version and its a solid game. The camera in the Werehog levels need fixing but overall, id say Unleashed brings hope for the future. The Hedgehog Engine may be Sonic's big comeback.Graphics: Super Mario Galaxy. Better art style. Gameplay: Super Mario Galaxy by a long shot. Really though, its all opnion and the way i see it, since i played Unleashed, it has its own share of merits. a 0 IS exaggerating it. Unleashed is a sign of better sonic games to come. its not garbage like people say. just another reason why i avoid hyped up games -_-
[QUOTE="Fried_Shrimp"][QUOTE="sonicthemegaman"] As in 100 to 0? Yeah, thats not exagerrated at all -_-sonicthemegamanNo it's not. Sonic the Hedgehog used to be my favorite game on the Sega Megadrive. I was never really into Super Mario Bros. as much as Sonic. How times have changed...... Mario is clearly the only one still worth talking about. Actually most of the better Sonic games have been on Nintendo systems like Sonic Rush and Advance.None of those games are good, the Good Sonic Games have always been on Sega Systems. Sega Genesis(Sonic 1-3 + knuckles), Sega Saturn(Sonic R, Sonic Jam), and Dreamcast(Adventure 1). I didn't like the gamegear ones, mainly because of their difficulty, well I only tried one, it was resucing Tails(Sonic 2 I believe for the gamegear), but the thing is you need all the Chaos emeralds to win.[QUOTE="Coolyfett"]

[QUOTE="sonicthemegaman"][QUOTE="Fried_Shrimp"]Graphics: Super Mario Galaxy. Better art style. Gameplay: Super Mario Galaxy by a long shot. Overall: 100/0 in favour of Super Mario Galaxy.Fried_ShrimpAs in 100 to 0? Yeah, thats not exagerrated at all -_- No it's not. Sonic the Hedgehog used to be my favorite game on the Sega Megadrive. I'm sorry sonic the megaman, but I too am a Sonic fan but after Sonic Adventure 2... I was done with the console 3D sonics.... he just doesn't translate well into 3D, because of his speed.... I keep saying this to my friends but Sega needs to make Sonic The Hedgehog 4, the way Capcom made one of my favorite games of all time: Mega Man 9. Even nintendo did it with New Super Mario Brothers and the sequel: New Super Mario Bros Wii...
Sega messed up BAD by adding all these kiddy extra characters in the Adventure series. Sonic is about attitude, I don't want to see him collecting fake pokemon. Have him fight Robotnik(yeah I said Robotnik not Eggman) in different zones with catchy upbeat memorable soundtracks that capture the feel of the levels. Tails and Knuckles can be co-stars but should only be around for cut scenes or have their own seperate story. Shadow the Hedgehog was good NEW anti-Sonic character, but Metal Sonic was more subtle and much cooler.
The Sonic series needs something to save it fast... and Sonic The Hedgehog 4 would be perfect... make it HD sprites like Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix or maybe something like BlazBlue sprites.... stop being lazy Sonic Team, the DS games are fantastic, just need some updated graphics for the big consoles and you'll have sonic back to his former glory.
But at the end of the day, i'm sorry to say this... Sonic, like Bowser & Donkey Kong, has become one of Mario's beer buddies... now they have olympic games together and fight in Smash Brothers.... 15 years ago when I was 9 years old we would beat people up with the stray thought of Sonic being in Mario game let alone on the same console...
Dreamcast R.I.P. 9.9.99, your ten year anniversary is coming up and i'll be playing Power Stone, Street Fighter III, Sonic Adventure, and Sonic Adventure 2 in your memory
Sorry, Sonicthemegaman. Sonic used to be one of y favorite franchises and I always hope with every new game that it will be good. But to me that last sonic game I had fun with was sonic and knuckles (or was it sonic CD...I can't recall which came first).
I really can't stand the 3D ones (not even adventure) and I hate the direction games like rush, rush 2 and unleashed have taken the series. Even the wii ones (while promising) were awful.
