Well naturally if you properly vectorise the eggs and parallelize sausage pathfinding routines you can achieve at least twice the breakfast satisfaction. Not to mention 8 Gigantic Big-a-bites of mutton.Â

I dunno, I mean there were a couple of Xbox 360 games that were definitely on a par with pc games at launch. Maybe even better. Gears of War for example. Again this was due more to the use of newer graphics engines and more advanced techniques rather than power of the system . A single 670 is still better... no matter if the numer is small now, it's only going to grow... that's how technologie works. Even when the PS4 is released, people will still play with the Wii, Xbox and PS3.

On what games? Why not compare 7850 CF against 7970? This reduces game code bias factors between GPU vendors.

Normal 7970 is still faster than normal 7850 CF.
Looks like the VRAM is the bottleneck there, even at 1200p AVP took over 2.3GB, so I can imagine how high it is at 5760x1080. While the 2GB 7850s have more power combined than the 7970, the 2GB bottlenecks it which means it'll have lesser FPS than the 7970. I would hope so since it's non-reference, but there is surely a VRAM bottleneck somewhere.
