Jaguar's IPC stomps all over Wincester's IPC and has more/better instruction sets to use. You'd bottleneck the heck out of any modern GPU you tried to pair up with an AMD64.

Jaguar IPC is a bit less than Llano/Stars which itself was a 6-8% improvement over Phenom II. Winchester was a K8 part which had considerably worse IPC than even Phenom, much less Phenom II.

Jaguar is only suppose to be 15% faster on average vs bobcat clock per clock.

That chart shows that K8 trails Bobcat in integer performance, the integer performance is where the 15-20% IPC improvement comes into play. The FPU performance improvement for Jaguar is much higher than 15%.

Even if the jaguar does slightly more instructions per clock running at same clock speed as k8. my k8's default clock is 2.0 ghz so that makes up for it and i can clock alot higher than that to more than make up for it. ps4 and xbone only 1.6 ghz LOLoldgamesbetter
