great score, another great PS3 exclusive in the bag.

Whats funny about now is.

• lemmings won't mind cows considering it an exclusive.
• cows won't care about it being exclusive or not.

HAZE-Unit

Its kind of a meh flop this one, never a big seller and had been hyped a bit in SW because of it being a possible AAA rather than tons of people wanting to rush out and buy it. Still 8.0 is a good score and its still the best baseball series out there.

Was funnier at the start of the gen when people would hype just awful games (ie Lair) as AAA. What was the last huge game to flop? Spore was a kick in the teeth for me, I'd been looking forward to it for years and when we saw the actual release I was like

Correct me if I'm wrong but, a game can't flop if it essentially has no hype can it? And the only "official" hype thread had like 50 votes, with the majority being AA, before it was linked in this thread and then invaded by people voting AAA after the fact.

I personally thought it would score 8.5, and hoped it would score 9, since it seems a better game than 09 (9.0) and at the very least better than 08 (8.5), while fully aware that it had a high chance of scoring lower than 09 since GS seems to have a mad on right now for playing the "not new" card.

I don't know whether thinking it would get 8.5-9 would constitute me hyping it AAA or AA. So in that way I guess it's a personal flop on my end for not reaching 8.5, but there's no official flop. It's not White Knight Chronicles.

I'm not getting the game just yet, but when I do I'll be interested in seeing how much of the reviews gripes are legit, most other sites don't seem to be taking as much issue with it.

Heavy Rain is the best flop Ive ever played, so flop on I say.

This floppage crap means nothing to the quality of a game, and purely for ownage by fanboys. I think thats redundant.

this is ridiculous, this game is awesome and every other gamesite gave it its due. but here comes gamespot with a very late terrible score and the first line in the cons section is " games last to long " wtf its a baseball game, and it got LOWER score than last yr's version. how is that possible, is last yr's version better than the current one? this site is crazy......patrickjw333

I don't know why people are getting up set. The PS3 just had Heavy Rain, MLB, and soon God of War 3 in quick succession. That's pretty good.

Yeah I dont get that.....in REAL baseball, a great pitching performance is around 7+ strikeouts....most pitchers range from 3-5K per game. So Striking out only 3 guys in 7-8 innings....is like real baseball. Its not supposed to play like an arcade game like the Bigs. I had 8 K's with AJ Burnett vs the Red Sox in an exhibition game the other day....on All-Star difficulty....so Idk what his problem is. He probably hasnt played the show long, or doesnt know how to mix locations and pitches.

Very surprise with this score, but regardless I felt that this one was a lot better than last year.

Right now , the 360 hasn't done anything this year exclusively. Screamflop and hypocrisy all you want about the game ..... but MLB The Show 10 is a great game and a great exclusive game in the ps3's lineup. I'm not sure why people are saying it wasn't worth getting as an exlusive. The 360 has a lot of catching up to do this year. You guys are down1 superb game and 3 great ones (just to the ps3). Hahahahaha.
