Story

After watching his reveal yesterday, I can tell I'm gonna get a lot of playing time with him. I'm also hoping if Smoke is in the game, it's human ninja Smoke and not robo-ninja Smoke.

I am glad they are (so far) going back to the older cast of characters, rather than including a big flaming rock guy, a drunkard that pukes all over, and other strange characters. Kratos fits in so well too :P.

Haha I want to hype it AAA, but I think GS will find something wrong with it :P. I love MK and this looks to be be possibly the best one yet, so I am sure it will be one of my favorite fighting games. I think the style and presentation are so great. And its not just like, oh man its so bloody and blood is awesome! Its that its so brutal, and personal feeling I guess. Like you are really beating the crap out of the opponenet :P. Something about it haha, its just great.

Its for people who dont care for the gameplay of MVC3 or people who think the MVC3 roster is bleh ala me. So yea go MK and I can see it getting a AA.

Yeah, but if you want them you have to buy the MK movies on Blu-Ray, or so I heard. The 1st one is watchable, the 2nd not so much, and I would buy neither on BR Disc.

Also I was thinking about how Kratos fits so well and I personally dont think MS has a character that does, and it made me laugh that IMO Dark Link would fit in better than any MS character. No jabs here just found it funny cause its Nintendo :P.

If it is anything like previous MK, then it would be below average, i honestly don't have many expectations for this game, specially with MvC3 and now Arcana Hearth 3 coming to US, not to mention the always possibility to receive KOFXIII in the near future.

My personal hype is AAA....AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

But I expect GS to give MK9 a AA score.

I haven't been this excited for a fighting game since Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2.

I hope this MK brings a lot of success for the franchise and allows the Third movie to be made because Ive been hearing about it for a decade, and I really want another MK film!

Am I the only one to think the buttons position on the arcade stick is weird ? Doesn't seem to play well at all. :sjack00

From what I hear its made with just MK in mind not other fighters.

Getting both Tournament Edition and Kollector's Edition... and maybe a standard copy as well.

Why? I'm going to pre-order TE and KE each, but those won't reach my house til around the street date. I'm going to buy the standard copy in advance, so I can practice and have one-on-one time with the storymode.
