Hopefully Netherealm makes it worth it. I honestly expect a ton of DLC for this game, seeing as how they really couldn't for mk vs dc due to Midway's $$ troubles.

A Shaolin Monks sequel would be awesome, in fact I might try to find MK: SM for PS2 on my lunch break today.

When you say the final roster is 26 characters, is that INCLUDING Kratos? If so then we have 3 left to learn. I am hoping for Shao Kahn, Smoke, and mataro :P. I dont relaly need Motaro, I just remember him from UMK3 and I loved that game. DLC will probably have some of them and others like Goro.

While I don't think it will be near the level of fighting in MVC the game looks really fun! Hopefully it is as good as it looks.

lol there are no "characters" you get for pre-ordering, just an extra outfit for a character. yes its annoying, but that isnt nearly as bad :P.

I agree with the preorders, but characters take alot of time to make.. you have to check alot of stuff before you put them into the game. Including every character ever in MK would have probably taken quite sometime. Probably more time/money than the sales they would get for the game.

They did that already in Armageddon. It leaves the game unbalanced. If you know anything of the fighting game market, the DLC is how the companies make money and keep the game fresh/alive. The companies aren't greedy, the costumes are optional and do not add anything to gameplay and WILL be available to everyone after a month, they are pre-order bonuses.
